is it possible that the guy who had it before me put in the wrong size seal? how would I find out if the dimensions are correct?

I was told this could also be the cause of why my seal isn't sealing ;D

In another forum, someone told me that the seal is pushed in too far and needs to be flush. is this true?

50cc I believe... the side with the numbers... that is the only seal I have... i was also going to ask, is it normal for it to leak oil after just putting a new seal in... does the seal need to "set" in it or something?

So I put the new seal in... granted I have no clue what I'm doing. I pushed it in until it seemed to "stop". I hope that was what I was supposed to do. Couldn't find any videos on it. It is still spewing oil into the CVT once again. I don't know what to do with this thing. it has been out of commission for a month now.

can I use the impact wrench to tighten the nut back on the crankshaft or do I have to have a torque wrench? if so, how tight do I need the nut?
