I think that it has been on the market here for about 3 or 4 years. From what I have seen I would not take one on the Xpress way even with a 250cc engine but then I would not ride on the Xpressway with a 600cc scooter.  |

I have seen one broken down and parked in our small town. Never saw it again. Have seen a couple of videos of another in the Atlanta area. I have read that they have had trouble with the mechanism that allows the rig to tilt in curves. There may have been a distributor in our area at one time but don't think the idea caught on here. |

Both of my Tomos rides were true Mopeds, 2 speed automatic shifts. Sorry I ever got rid of the last one but they were a little underpowered for the NGA hills even when 'souped' up. The Tomos scooters are Chinese built but a friend has one and it seems to be well built. |

We got 3.4" in yesterdays storm, my county is still boggeds down, Atlanta is still in deep do do, Xways still clogged some have been stuck in the non moving traffic since yesterday afternoon. 18 wheelers stranded all over the place, many schools had to keep students and staff overnight as there was no way the school busses could get them home and the parents could not get to the schools. Temp here was 8 this morning, up to 14 now but wont get above freezing today. Where is globular worming when you need it??  |

Definitely chain it up, at the worst it will slow them down, at the best they will pass on stealing it. Congrats on its being found, hope it is in good shape. |

Bummer, Steve. Do you have any idea as to who might have done it? There is always the chance that it might be found. And don't give up. If you do you have just let the thief steal more than your trike. |
