The seat belt law, I suspect, was sponsored by insurance companies to cut their losses. I am not against them, just object to being forced to wear them. As for helmet laws, I am for them. Only a foolish or suicidal person would not wear a helmet when riding. Sadly we are no longer a free country now.

Re: Allyoops diagnosis for the shuddering. Thank you. My TGB D150 has a slight 'stutter' in the rear end when first taking off but immediately smooths out and runs fine. We have already diagnosed as the clutch and with 8000 miles on it will just replace it as soon. Right now I have to pull the gas tank to determine why it leaks out a half tank when filled up and then stops. Not enough time to work on it right now and am riding the Stella to break it in.

So far the evidence points to it being true, hard as that is to believe. "And they walk among us"!!!

I will share a little with the group. Over the years I have become totally deaf. Three years ago I opted for a cochlear implant. I was told then that certain things would be a problem for me to hear, namely music and small childrens voices. Over time, I was told, music might become less difficult but not to count on it. These four singers just let me know that I have made great progress in being able to hear music. I listened to these 3 tapes with tears in my eyes. Beautiful singers, just beautiful and I could follow their voices. JR is right. Every now and then the little people win. And Jonathan showed us all that loyalty is not a lost value. A real quality man!!

Well, I am admittedly no wrencher. That is why I follow and belong to this forum and a sidecar forum. I also visit ModernBuddy.com for info on my Stella scoot. I can do basic stuff as a result and I am constantly learning from those with more skill than I. Forums get too big and they lose their value, as we have seen happen to SD.
