Hi JR unsure if my bikes not charging the battery when she is running only because I have not started the bike in 2 weeks and when I tried to start her today it was dead I had to jump start it , do you think it's not charging or because I had not started it in 2 weeks ? tried to start it the next day after riding the bike after jump starting it with jumper leads and she is dead the battery either the battery is not good or the stator is not charging it what should i do should i go and buy a new battery ?

It seems to be leaking from those cylinder covers I might buy brand new ones and another gasket kit and do those covers and stop those leaks from happening do you think that's a good start to eliminate the problems with oil leaks

ill have to get back to on this JR i think i need to order some new cylinder head cover set as there seems to be some oil dripping (not much at all) when she is hot also oil was low i topped her up and with the popping i have stopped that after retightening the head bolts but this is where the smoke yesterday was coming from and it did smell like burning oil ( lower valve on the cylinder head )

Ok JR thank you for the info will do as you say cheers Do you have any ideas for the head bolts(torque settings)? i forgot to mention before i did a carby tune it was not making the popping sound when accelerating also has no gasket at the moment where the exhaust meets the cylinder but after fine tunning the carby thats when it started to pop if you understand so may be me doing the carby tune has made it pop and here is the video i watched and did the exact has he has explained Also i found these torque settings for head bolts/nuts does this look correct to you ?

Solenoid not clicking or anything ? Its ok JR found the cause... When i was using the bullet connectors some wires were loose etc so i have decided to solder every connection needed as this will take time but at least i know the connections will be fine
