Few years back JR gave me a massive hand in rewiring my 110cc now all is good bar the battery won't keep its charge any ideas please also I'm pretty sure I put a brand new stator in also ?

There's a few quick and easy and painless checks you can do,,,going to need a multimeter for this,,,four things come to mind,,easiest of the four is to check all the terminations associated with the battery (i.e. Ground wire engine to frame ground,,make sure everything is clean with no corrosion or rust and are tight,,next up is when the bike is running check the state of charging at the battery while the bike is running 2-3000 rpm,,,should be around 14v,,,is the battery a dud?,,,next is the output at the regulator,,,the stator is probably fine but a bad regulator won't transfer power to the battery hence a no charge situation,,next is the stator output but my money is on the terminals or regulator
