Got to tell ya one thing. I'm not riding the scoot to work until I get a battery for the broken remote. I'll check out the size of battery and head to Wally-World to get another one. Just hope I got a small enough Phillips screw driver to take it apart.  |

Rode the scoot to work this morning. wife texted me and said , "bring home dinner that she would pay ".  Well what would you do ? So I stopped at the local pub and got dinner on the way home. Walked out to the scooter and packed everything away and hopped on the scoot. When I did this the scooter alarm went off and kept going like I was stealing my own scoot.  Nothing would stop the alarm but the alarm button on the remote.  I ended up removing the battery and called my wife to come and get me. I went home and got the trailer, went back , got the scoot and took it home. Make a long story short , I went in the house an hour later and got the other remote and Wa La , this one worked . What Happened ? Does the remote have a battery ? |

Wolfhound, in 1967 I worked at a gas station after school pumping gas and washing the wind shields . I can remember .23-.28 cents for a gallon gas. When there was a gas war , the prices went to .19 cents a gallon. Just to think if that would happen today ........  ((* |

I run about 50 to 55 mph to work and back , about 60 miles round trip. Last time I checked , I was getting 67.4 mpg. Not bad ... ^) I can go to work and back for less than $ 3.75 a day on average . I usually ride 3 days to work and back before I fill the gas tank back up . That is an average of $18.75 for a 5 day week riding back and forth. I can remember filling the car up for a $20.00 bill. Now it's the scooter MC- 250-B.

Sorry this is taking so long but I've been on vacation and away from home. Going to tackle this job tomorrow evening.. This evening I took the front plastics off and found that a plastic support for the light housing has broken off. It's the bottom post that is about 1 1/2 inches long. I really need this and I need to know if there is a glue that will hold tis peace in place. I'm sure this is part of my problem. |

Thanks bobf for the article. I still think making adjustments on center stand would be the way to go. This would make the light more level and maybe even a little higher. When you would take the scoot off the center stand the lights would drop a bit. We'll see what happens. If I can't get to this in the next few days , I will be on vacation next week and will give the adjustment a shot. Happy Trails

For sure I'm going to do this after dark. I'm going to use the 2 car garage door and set the scooter back about 20 yards. Using a black 1x2 for a center point in the middle of the door and try to adjust from there. Just had an idea , ;-X . Cover one light and adjust the other. ;-X ;-X ;-X . Makes cents doesn't it ? Off work the next couple of days so I'm going to give this a shot one evening.

Someone please give me a hand on this one. I am now riding the scoot after dark and also late at night . At the present time riding at night I can count the birds on the top of trees. I need an adjustment for sure. The brights come to a dot that is about 20 yards in front of me. The dims are better than the brights but there is a dark area in the middle of the road.

I had the same problem until I put tubes in my tires and they work great Ernie.
