Well yesterday we got 2 inches of rain, small hail, and a lot of wind. :# Tree down in my side yard but still I've got the best looking garden that I have planted in years.  Now if we don't have a drought, I'll have more than enough veggies and I can give some away. |

Those sales at harbor freight are killers. I have one just 30 miles from me and when there is a lot sale , I try to go. My last buy , I bought a tire changer and it's still in the box.  I also bought a 12 inch sliding miter saw with a lazer guide. Still in the box Hey, how about a 1/2 inch socket drill. Electric at that. Yes, still in the box. Now what is a guy to do when he retires ? Just sit around and do nothing ? Im going to have a Christmas in October , Thanks to Harbor Freight .......J.R., you made a very good buy and I'm sure you'll go back.  |

Getting those storms up here too jr. We had a dozy about 5:00. Storm knocked out my air conditioner.  Going to buy a new one in the morning. |

This evening I followed the little guy and noticed that the rear wheel was not running true with his bike, had a wobble, so back to the garage we went. I took the chain off and saw that it wasn't worn much at all so I took a link out of the chain and put it back on. After adjusting the chain and alining the rear wheel carefully , we went for a spin. What a difference this did to the bike. As I ran along side of him with my scoot, this little guy was getting 45 mph out of his dirt bike . So guys, thanks for the help and some day I hope to give a return. Thanks J..R. you were right buy saying " take a link out" ', I think that did the job..... PS... Get the garden in. I'm ready for some fresh veggies. ;D |

Thanks justbuggin2 and Alleyoop. I'll have him bring the dirt bike over this evening and we'lll take another look at it. I've got the tensioners on both sides almost all the way back. Should I take a chain link out ?

On my scoot , the rear tag that tells me what kind of gear oil to use has vanished, dissapeared, fell off the earth. Can someone show me a picture of this tag. If I remember right it has a GL on it . Also the neighbor kid called and said he was out of gas, so naturally I got on the scoot with a small jug full of gas and headed down the road to fill up his 50 cc dirt bike. As we were ridding along he suddenly stopped and got off his bike and in 2 seconds he was ridding next to me. He hit another bump in the road and his chain fell off. That is when I realized what had happened the first time he stopped. When we got to my house , he told me the chain came off all the tme. I looked at the chain and it was loose, had a lot of play. On each side of the rear tire was a tensioner that had a litt room to go so I loosend the main nuts on the wheel and then snugged the chain up. The question is , Can you over draw the chain ? There is a little play in the chain but he can't push the bike backwards. Is this normal ? Need just a little advice here. |

The people of Ohio want to give Phill the death pentaly. Huuuum ! Makes you wander what they will do to the weather men that make the same mistake..... Have a good time JR. ......... Tell her that the hall is full of crappy bags.....LOLs CARNIVAL CRUSIE LINES ! I think CC. had the right idea. A little boat ride down the Arkansas with a bottle of wine , some bread and cheese and a blanket to sit on . Nice crusie for a 15th of the price.
Take a lot of tip money. Everyone has to be tipped. Taking a cruise , yes, eveyrone should do it once. Why ? Because I had to. lol's

I've been with the same Co. since I built my home. Home , Car. Jeep, Boat, Scooter all on the same policy. I think I might be shopping around. Record -- 1 speeding ticket in the 80's. That's it.
