With a well detailed receipt, signed by both parties.
It can used to prove ownership if need be. Both parties get a copy of the receipt. So nether can "pull" some kind of claim.
Carbon-copy receipts have worked fine for me when I sold "parts-only" cars or just thier parts for years. - Heck, when I sell anything of value of more than $50, I make sure to fill out one. _

I've been thinking about that & few other things too.
Gonna have to remember to do that, & thoroughly clean the carb too. _

has it got a plate on it? if it does how far out of date is it? --- Cy, I don't understand "out of date plate". If you mean a registry/license plate, Kentucky doesn't require registry/licensing or Insuring for anything UNDER 50cc's. I went to my local clerk's/DMV office with the title from my 2013 scoot & asked to register for a Lic. plate. & they told me it was not necessary. - That's some of the reasons I'm able to afford something to ride/drive here. If I were to drive a car/truck I wouldn't be able to afford Insurance & Fuel @ the same time. _

Followed the directions from Tuning "4-Cycle Carbs", going CCW, didn't seem to help. - But I'll take another try again during warm weather. _

I miss working on bigger power plants. Much easier to tune than their 3 cu. inch counter-parts.
( That, & I got the tools for it.) ----------- I try again, as per' useal. When weather lets me…

Well Cy, the best on "Papers" I got on the scoot is a signed Recipt with the make, model, Eng-size, & VIN on it. - I always make sure to get that at least when purchasing any vehicle. _

As a side i always look at it as a hobby,,, I concure with that. I wasn't thinking of making extra cash. Just wanted to come close to "break-even" as possible. As a shoestring bugeted Gearhead, this looked as good way to get back into wrenching again. -------------------------------- Besides, for some reason. Scooters from fixer-upper, to just bearly running. Appear to go for $150 to $400 around upper Kentucky area here. At least at what I can find. (Haven't found a local scooter Gear-head community yet.) I can only go as far as the next county, otherwise I have to pay someone to deliver. No truck/car to use or borrow. A 50cc scooter is all I can afford to drive. (No insurance needed to drive an under 50cc scoot in Ky.) _

I just remembered something.
My OLD-CARB is a 19mm.
My NEW-CARB is a 18mm.
Will this any affect on tuning? _

Are the RMPs coming down hanging and slowly dropping and keep dropping and when it gets to idle the rpms drop and it dies? ______________ Yes.

Pull 1/3 throddle, & hold. Then let go. Engine RPMs come down then dies. (Unless I bump throddle at last moment, it will die.)
I've got the stupid stumble on throddle snap to go away. _
But now when I go for a ride it's lacking any power. Didn't even get over 25mph… -------- Maybe I should try a different carb? _

Well, warm weather came in.
Ok put in the #34-pilot & the #75-Main. Started out Air/Fuel screw @ 1 turn out. Ended with 1-1/2 turns out.
Also ended up with setting my accelerator Diaphram needle clip waay up. (Less fuel on acceleration.)
Carb still stalling after coming down from higher throttle pull.
Guess I'm gonna need to find a smaller Pilot-jet. Or a different carb…
--------------------------
Is it possible that some carbs HAVE to run smaller jets?
When others RUN what seems to be a norm of #35 pilot & a #75 main.
------------------------
My OLD CARB ran A #35 pilot & a #78 main.
I know they run'em rich, but really? This too weird… _

So what would be a good deal for most? ------------ Update: went & put what I could together.
Ended up with a whole engine minus a Starter belt & belt cover.
2'nd engine, that can finished @ low cost.
A 3'rd that can be good for nice build-up, or just made into a spare/back-up.
The 4'th -"Scrap"-
Looks like the carbs could provide some good rebuild practice.
Looking to having some fun rebuilding some of these. & see if I can sell/scrap the leftover idem/junk. _

I think that I don't have enough seller feedback (1 sale.) to get folks to purchase most of this stuff, to get a fair profit. Was actually thinking selling some idems locally. Not shure on whom, or when. But hopefully soon.
