lol. Nah, I only got the 2 scoots as of this time.
My 2013 P.i.t.A Peace-Sports Renegade-50. ( Fuel/Carb issues.) & the scoot on this thread here. - I'm not sure what to think about more scoots than that. I'm sure the apartment complex would not like it if scooters started popping up in droves, in one of their parking lot corners.
I'd like to keep a low "Fix-it myself" profile. The less they know what I can fix, the better for me… _

While sitting at the fuel station trying to get the scoot behave last night. Someone mentioned the float needle possibly being stuck. - Could most of my problems be due to a stuck F-needle from a larger fuel line & untreated gas? ( Seafoam, STP, MysteryOil. whatever.) _

It looks like a Tao-Tao, even can share parts with it. But it's a Peace-Sports Lottus-50. A.K.A; TPGS-805. - Done a bit of body Rework/Repair. Changed, Flushed all fluids. A good thorough run over, & clean-up of the wiring.
Needs a belt-cover, starter clutch-gear, maybe a new voltage regulator, new lock set ( No keys.), New battery, & Left mirror.
Still have to give the engine a through outer cleaning, check clearances, & general inspection before seeing about starting it up. Of course that is why I inspected my used carbs, & got 1 thoroughly cleaned, & reassembled. ---------------------------- I believe I'd want to try to hang onto this scoot. I'm liking the amber-rish burnt-yellow color.
That & I like the Sunny-Style Type-1 style little better. ( ScrappyDogScooters.com Chassis/Bodywork ID.) _

I'm familiar with needing to keep things in align while being pressed back together. I've rebuilt my share of pressed parts on my own cars, & trucks. Even had some fun doing the heat a front-knuckle, & freeze the race-bearing to be able to drop it in for a solid straight fit. ( Got to be quick on that one!) - If I owned a press I'd be doing it myself. - I'm fairly picky about my Alinements/Measurements. Like my wood projects, an 1/8'th of inch out, I don't like to deal with if I can prevent it. I do Own a 6" ruler that goes down to 64'ths an inch. & used that plenty. But I prefer metric now, easy on the math. _

Well stuck @ gas station, with carb puking again… - It's got to be the larger fuel line, it's must be what's making me nuts.
Ugh.
-----------------------------
Managed to get home, but had to push the scoot + groceries up two small hills about mile home.
At moments like that, I really dislike carburetors. - Got a upper leg-muscle that feels as if tore something. Even after some serious pain-killers & 2 Quarts of Green + Chamomile tea. ( My home brew mix, great muscle relaxant, & healing aid.) It's still a bit sore.
This is not what wanted to be doing with my scoot… _

Well spent a good resonable day going over my acquired "parts" carbs. Piecing together what I got.
Instead of tuning, like I should. But there's hope for tomorrow, lol…

Update on the carbs: With some select parts from another carb I had. I've managed to piece together; 1 -whole carb. 2 -Carbs that need accl-Diaphragm + spring. & 1 -Carb that needs a choak, accl-Diaphragm + spring, & Diaphragm hat/top.
Looks as one carb could have a chance if I can locate enough parts for it. Needs a bowl cover + all the gut parts. ( Long shot, I know. But still worth hanging onto any-ways.)
& then there's the 150cc carb. So many parts missing I'm thinking about recycling it. ( What am I going to do with it any-ways?) - So let me know what you all think. _

Only problem I got with "scrappers" is they rarely sell what they got for scrap price. Even worse is you have to know some "scrappers" or have the word out to find good deals on what's out there.
I doubt there be any scoots at any impound-yards during the cold months. ( Plus sometimes the impound "fees" are more than the scoots worth.) - But like most new hobbies, I'm learning… _

No prob 'Tom. As I said before, it looks fine to go "fender-less" in your state.
But if really wish to be sure, just ask an inspector at your local DMV/clerk's office. When in a good mood they can be a valuable resource of info. _

$75 Really? How come I can't find fixer-up scoot's for less than $150 around where I'm at?
Crude, I can't even find a klunker CAR for less than $500 close by, if even I'm really lucky.
I geuss all the folks recycling (scrappers) are finding the good scoots for scrap.
I just can't fathom that one can find a $50 - $100 scooter easily most times. Not around here, I figure. _

Alley, I don't think a prepped crank would cost more a few dollars to just go out & have them press the arm-pin out then one back in.
Sure a new crank would be better. But I'm just wanting to save a crank, Cus' I have the parts to make use of it. - Waste not, Need not. Yes? _

Ok. Got a good 139QMB Crank, & a separate good 139QMB Piston-arm.
I'm wanting to combine both to get a solid crank & piston assembly.
Has anyone removed a Piston-arm from a Crank, & installed it on another? _
