power sourse $55.00 on ebay 11ah a bit more power then the stock one,i hear a lot of guys going with 14ah ,like alleyoop said its crap shoot ,,if I move to 14ah I will just go with a cheap one an hope its good ,then if it not most have one year warranty,i just don't see spending 100.00 for a scooter battery thats more then the ones in my car,the walmart batterys you just have to check the date on them ,I have not had battery that failed in years one cheapo that showed up not working right,i got full refund though ,yes cca the more the better I think ,120 to 220 a good one will put out ,batterys can not sit in scooter for months without unhooking + cable same with cars then they should get slow charge, some guys they leave there batterys in there bikes all winter don't run them ,then wonder why they got dead battery ,they put fast charge on it couse they want to ride now ,an that makes the acid boil ,that also drain the life out of the battery ,it all about takeing care of it like anything elce an it will last

well it seems if when you bunched up the wires an that made the fan work you may have a kink in the wire or check the connection all the way through while you have it apart,

looks good but tag says 2009 so has it ran since then 4 years I would see if they ran in regular ,for 4cycle they were good fast bikes ,I would only buy if you can ride it first .the older jap bikes out there that are either parted back together or kept in a garage are some of the best bikes every made overseas 70 an 80s jap bikes are alive an well.for parts or fairly easy fix 2 to 400..00,if it runs good an it does look good for the age ,start at $400.00 then don't go over 750.00 an drive it first,i am guessing it local to you ,had friend sold 84 750 18000 miles in great shape,500.00

nice you found it ,yes I found my fan kicks in at the half way point to on the gage ,an would guess other then when rideing will probley stay there when its hotter ,atleast you got through takeing all that plastic off ,good job,its not easy ,an I feel as though I will be getting there again one day but hope not to soon .when warmed up I think they said 2000 was ok ,because of the high rpms on these ,probley not as long was not long time ,I would change the oil an just keep an eye on things wich I will be doing the same .my plan is many short rides around town until I feel good about a longer trip

yes that's a very welcome thing that has ussally taken place instead of the snow an feeling like january ,there talking 55 bye Tuesday ,should be like 65 for you ,there about 4 hours from hear pretty mush what ever you get come are way in the same 24 hours ,other then getting warmer in the city with the building .like when summer sets in for the short 90days,,it gets hotter inland then on the coast, its looks like while still slow I will take anything over 50 at this point .an rain yes washes away the crap as well as melt the snow that's ussally gone bye now

find a good 250 when you can ,i think speeds are overated ,couse what will happen though 150cc may work you will find still not enough I am 6ft4 an 250 an 50cc is just to small, atleast wait for 150cc touring wich is the same size as a 250 with less power an has the room a big person needs ,an great for scooting around city, iwas going to get 150 touring for 1500.00 then relized I have few places I need to get up to 60 an I just dopnt think a 150,willget 60 with my weight up hils mostly I guess they say 150s do 60,yes with 140lbs guy on it ,if my 250 get 55 up hill I will be surprised ,just do what you need to save for the bigger scoot like some said all the money an time for mph,hey mmmmotor had 150 $400.00+ shipping hehehehehe not ready to try that yet, I have friend just got 49cc tao tao an she has not choise like you,her case is she has not driver licence for awhile an a lot of states don't need it for 49cc or less I the 49cc brings me back to fa 50 bye honday they were so easy to work on ran forever 2 stroke lighter an 35mph felt like 50 on dirt roads ,some say an sites to say the 250 gets 75mph an 300,80mph,i don't think so though ,I guess if mine gets 55mph to 60 I will be happy ,an if I deside I don't like the 250 I will sell it cheap ,

yes its the thread right below this one on main page ,yes hope its easy enough for you ,but that thread bob explains to me how to properly take all the other plastic off ,of the down falls is the side panals have to come off to get any further then a bottom one comes off ,take your time ,you seat would also need to come off ,hope you don't have to go any further, though like said right on this 250 page the thread right below this one keep us updated that thread shows if you need to go any further takeing plastic off carefully ,keep us updated JR An alleyoop can help best with trouble shooting from hear

no sales tax hear in Nh however when you compare how long they last to old ones there still worth buying every 2 years ,a 75 watt puts out about the same amount of light as the old 40watt the new 40s don't put out enough, can get 4 for 8.00 ,the price will also go down ,I just don't have the time myself to keep old bulbs an make the calls ,mabey one day i will bye then they will probley have all led light or something new ,I got 3 of the new ones outside an run 12 hours + each day an a few inside they claim that is 8 hours a day use ,an yes you can still get the old bulbs 16 for 4 bucks I was sick of some only lasting a week I am very happy with getting 2 years out of $2.00 bulb as to changing 8 to 10 bulbs per year or more an we got like 10 in the liveing room alone an some light only get used onece in a blue moon ,an 3 75 uses the same wattage as 1 older 60watters only 18 watts each ,the money saved in running them pays for the bulbs alone over a year

thread about possible leak talk all about how to take apart the plastics an pics page 3 has a pretty good shot of the fan motor an see the 2 hoses the one closest right not realy seen is the connection at bottom, but yes follow directions above takes about 10 15 minutes to get the black grill off ,without takeing to much off ,for first trouble shoot yes running right along the hose closest to you in the connectors right behind that hose
