On my older year, 2008 of a MC 54 250 with the 244 cc engine, it is easy to correct left and right turn signals. Assuming that the wiring is OK check this out. Push the button forward with the thumb and the right turn lights work. Pull the button back with the thumb and the left turn lights work, Press the button and the lights go off. 1. If pushed forward and the left light on the front flashes, look up under the front plate and swap the two turn light connectors from their connectors coming down from the switch panel. That should correct which light is flashing. You may need to take off the plate below the windshield, hopefully not. 2. If the switch is pushed forward and the left rear light is flashing. A similar swap of the lamps in the back may be needed. Not sure if there are connectors to be swapped or if you need to actually move the lamps to fix the problem. .

I take the battery out for winter store it in house ,keep it in shade in summer to much heat to much cold ,like someone said I don't use tender I am thinking about buying one ,an only using it after using a lot of the exTras we hook up to these scooters like cell phone ,radio ,security camera ,if you can think about it you can run a lot of thing off these ,otherwise I would not use tender ,,now in winter slow charge it every 2 months ,an start the bike every 2 weeks .only takes few minutes to take out an put back in.like said in other thread ,I think tenders are good for the xtras ,,otherwise ,yes I plan to run a power inverter .so after that USE I COULD SLOW OR TRICKLE CHARGE,BUT TO KEEP BATTERY ON TERDER YEAR ROUND ,I HEAR MORE STORIES OF THEM DIEING SOONER ,ALOT HAVEING TO DO WITH TEMP CHANGES ,BYE BRINGING IT IN THE HOUSE IN WINTER IT STAYS AT SAME TEMPS,AN SUMMER I AM ALLWAY CAREFUL TO PARK IN SHADE,EXTREME TEMPS DONT SEEM TO HELP,BUT SCOOTER FOR THOS THAT MAY HAVE Hard time understandingWHAT DO I KNOW ,OTHER THEN I HAVE NOT HAD A DEAD BATTERY IN YEARS ACTUAALY I HEAR THE HEAT IS WORCE THEN COLD AS LONG AS YOU UNHOOK + SIDE ,THE VOLTS ,I DONT WORRY ABOUT THAT ,GENERALY YOU CAN TELL WHEN a BATTERY HAS HAD IT ,IF IT DIES EVERY FEW MONTHS OR WONT HOLD A CHARGE ,OR APEEARS TO AN AFTER DAYS DEAD THEN TIME FOR NEW ONE CARS ,WELL I HAD A DEAD BATTERY IN BOTH CARS THIS YEAR BUT THEY WERE DO ONE WAS 7 YEAS OLD THE OTHER 5 ,SO IT WAS TIME ,THE ONE WITH 7 FOR 2 YEAR I WOULD GIVE IT 18 HOUR SLOW CHARGE JUST BEFORE WINTER AN KEPT IT GOING FOR 2 MORE YEARS,ADDED WATER ,THEN WHEN IT ACTED UP IN SUMMER IT WAS TIME

I had a dl 650 for 3 years ,they told me to take the battery out unless running it often ,an said best way to take care of these batteries ,it to bring it inside an every 2months give it trickle charge,i did that with every toy I ever had 6 or 8 different batteries an never had a problem ,the hot an cold weather are no good for a battery ,unless keeping at same temps ,I would never keep one on charge all the time ,tenders are great for using every few months ,then I have hear of unhooking + side an doing same thing ever 2 month or month ,give it a slow 18 hours charge ,the cheap batteries in the china products I would think want last as long ,I plan to upgrade to 10a these are a 7,i guess in most caes ,the jap tech said most impotent was keeping it at same temp in the house 10 degrees one way or the other ,an to not for get to slow charge it ,an nevr a problem ,with the ones that come with these ,I would not trust it more then the first year ,but I am may be wrong to ,over charging ,can be the worst for a battery ,an sitting to long ,with my car un unhook + side an it sits for 4 months hook it up in spring allways fires right up ,

right yes it seems the same I learned one thing not to take plastics off in cold weather ,,but yes I was able to do what I needed to do I carefull took a wide enough drill bit ,couse I could not get drill under to big ,the little hole in the front help start it an the old visegrips a little forse ,an I have the hose hanging out the bottom ,so I will definatly know ,when it leaks out the hose , thought poor design,i finaly got it put back together I am sure its just one of the thing I may modify ,just need to put the seat back on an floor plates ,it was hard to get one side back one ,lesson learned is the plastic bends better in warmer temps, but I got what I wanted done ,will warm up ,then go take pic of hose hanging out an add it ,thanks bob ,I think I will just see how it goes from hear like you said ,I am going to get plates an suppoed to be 50 later this week an take for a real spin few miles still only 1 mile 8-|I like that one live an learn thanks to you guys I got what I wanted to done ,an guess the leak was the overflow wich allows the fluid to run all over ,now with the hole I feel like I got something done ,pics before an after I will clamp it an trim about 2 inches off it ,but now I wont have overflow running onto things other then the ground an this one the radiator is in the front,i guess one who has 2013 ,can learn from this thread, all is pretty much the same the gas tank is slimmer longer ,another thread about the gas gage,am not to worried ,did you remember how much fuel they hold I think its about 3 gallons, normaly I would not be happy about gas gage not working ,but with my average round trip being 30 miles ,it wont be that bigg an issue ,though if it turns out an easy fix ,then why not thanks bob

yes I see what your saying they left some of the 100 in the radiator now I guess couse it did not go down ,so if I drain off a bit that should do it its right there behind it I am confused bob couse you had told me to keep it about half way full back earler in the thread, couse of the exspntion that is cold full right up not hot you had said when cold should be about half way up then it will expand . the gas tank its right behind it few inches its longer not as tall .i can take some better pics ,what up with the gas gage not working it moves up a little ,but after putting 3/4ths gallon in there it does not move just below e.but does moves a little not much,i will post better pic before I put it back together of the radiator an the tank an carb
