I was wondering if I could put a 140-60-13 tire on the rear of my scooter? It has a 130-60-13 on the rear now. It has a huge hole in it and I'm about to replace it but wanted a slightly wider tire on the back this time. Any help would be appreciated.

I use nothing but Avons and as soon as my wife's Pirellis wear out on her scooter I'll be going to them.

Ok thanks for all your help. I changed my order the other day from the 140-60-13 to the original 130-60-13 to be on the safe side. It should be in this evening or tomorrow. I ordered Shinko brand P rated for up to 94mph.

I bought the Shiko sr429 (L rated) for my scooter and they are really great, You're going to love them. I paid almost double the shinko price for my last tire, a Michelin, and though it was a great ride they didn't even last 3,000. Hoping for more out of the Shikos.

I'm going to have it put on tomorrow. Don't feel like taking all that stuff loose. Had the scooter for a few weeks now and haven't enjoyed it yet. Only 850mi on it. Replaced carb and spark plug, this new tire should seal the deal. Radio just quit working. fuse is good and made sure connectors were tight. Still nothing. I hear it's common for those to go out on these Roketas.
