yes I know about that ,that's why I am hear I have already broke one of the plastic tabs on the plastics,I have had to super glue or duck tape jb weld or just leave things broken all my life ,so your not alone ,did you see wich belt is longer they can stretch ,I guess I would go with the change an if the old belt is good ,then keep as extra,or if its to much trouble ,then keep what you got ,I guess they say good to 3000 miles depending on the rider an how hard they hit the gas ,can depend on wear,an I am sure I will have more comeing down the pike

it may be stretched ,so if got while there get it out put both belts side bye side ,an see if one is longer then the other ,check for small crackes mabey that helps ,how did you crack the cover ,good luck with that sounded like a b,

It could be your variator weights that are rattling. Get your video by the CVT by the Variator or get a funnel and put it by the Variator and your ear on the funnel to pinpoint the clicking. Do the same on the Head of the motor by the valve cover and see if the clicking is coming from inside the valve cover. Reason I say it may be the Variator weights is because Valves get TIGHT not loose. That looks like a 244cc HELIX motor which has the Valve adjustments on the outside which makes them very easy to adjust you do not have to take anything off. Now it may that the bolts holding the adjusters are loose and the adjusters moved which would move to the LOOSE SIDE not the tight side. Take a Pic or a Video of the motor Valve adjusters on the right side like in this Video that shows how to adjust them. Alleyoop this is how the valves are adjusted on my 244cc jonway Alleyoop top on motor that does look easy an don't have to take off cover yes ?
