Are you somewhat mechanical at all? Can you take a PICTURE of your CARB AREA and HOSES. I can then label what to do and try. Also a picture of the CARB THE LEFT SIDE not the MUFFLER side. Alleyoop

usually white and black but it could be a different color Gray and Black Yellow and Black there are many variations of the CDI wirings. That is why a PICTURE would help. So Get busy putting up a picture

Well at this point the CDI is being fed 12v, so it could be the PICK UP COIL which you can test, cranking it over it should read anywhere from .05v to 2.5, if good then it is either bad CDI, Bad COIL bad PLUG OR your GROUND wire from the MOTOR TO THE FRAME IS NOT MAKING GOOD GROUND. Alleyoop

Now you are sure it is not getting SPARK RIGHT? you have taken the Spark Plug out and held it on the MOTOR NOT THE FRAME right.

Oh Man, I really feel bad for you these people taking advantage of someone. So lets see if we can help with you being our hands and eyes.
1. When you say it won't start WHEN you squeeze the Brake Does the STOP LIGHTS COME ON? 2. If SO when you then Push the START BUTTON does it spin the STARTER which in turn the motor is trying to start? Answer those questions and we can continue. Alleyoop

Then use your computer. Alleyoop Here is one with the same problem: OK if it is the VOG here is the system and how it works. CDI colors equal: Green = ground Black/yellow = CDI feed to coil Green/white = ground feed to stator Brown/black = 12Vdc from battery Blue/yellow = pulse or pick coil wire from stator Now take in mind guys on some VOGs they wire them like the 250B with the linhai, why? Who knows? But some arer wired like the BMS 260 or BMS VOG, that why I asked what scooter and what wire colors. If your scooter doesn't have the above colors let me know and I can figure out the configuration. Now it is puzzling that you have two wires from the stator to the CDI but the stator recieves it's grounding through the CDI hookup. All CDI's have two ground pins and they are connected to each other internally. Now the Brown/black wirte is the 12Vdc fed to the CDI and it you trace it out it runs through a series of two kill switches one on the kick stand the other on the right handle bar and they are in series so if either switch is bad = no power to CDI. ALSO the system is fed power from the key switch through a fuse box so blown fuse = no power to CDI. So one again needs to turn the key on, make sure the kill switch is in the run position and the kick stand is right and test for 12Vdc on the brown/black wire on the CDI. If it has no power then it's time to trace it out and find out why? Again if the colors are not what I said let me know and a picture would be a lot of help. JR

Ok, Look at your CDI or put a picture up here of it. ON THE TWO PLUG side the TOP WIRE is there a BLACK AND WHITE WIRE plugged in? If so take that wire out and see if you then get SPARK. Alleyoop

I'm starting to think the rectifier is bad because, before I bought it the guy that had it before me was running it on a dead battery he just kept jump starting it. Is this a possibility? Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk Wait a minute SO you just got that SCOOT and you have never had it running YET is that RIGHT? Yes if he was starting it with a jump start the battery is then SHOT and most likely the RECTIFIER is shot as well. Ok, this is a different story IF YOU HAVE NEVER YET HAD IT RUNNING YOURSELF. So if he got it running by jump starting it and it ran then the CDI is AC fired otherwise with a bad battery and not charging it is NOT A DC CDI which requires the battery to be good and charged and when you turn the KEY ON it sends 12v to the CDI to power it. So now that we now this JUST to make sure it will run JUMP the BATTERY with a car BUT NOT RUNNING and see if it fires. Alleyoop
