Hi all,
I'm in desperate need of a voltage regulator for my 2012 efi tbx 260. 3 plugs with 6 wires. Bms is back ordered 3-4 weeks and i can't find it anywhere. Took it on vacation and now can't ride. I found a place that works on them but we can't get the part. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would pay to have it fedexed if i can find it.
Thx

Maybe it's for adding one, because one did not come with the scoot. Thanks

Just when I thought all was well....My speedometer just stopped working with no warning. While looking up under my front panel for the speedometer cable, I found this connector plug just dangling there. I never noticed it before, and wondered what it was and if it had anything to do with the speedometer. Everything else on the dash works. I have a 260 cc BMS TBX 260cc.

The rim arrived with prompt shipping exactly as promised. So I would definitely recommend them and use them again. My friend looked at the rim but he had some questions about removing and we contacted BMS . The guy that answered the phone was Austin and he was amazing. He actually took pictures of a bike like mine that was in for repairs and showed exactly which bolts to remove in succession. Then emailed them to me the next day. And gave me his phone number to call back if we had any other questions. Kudos to BMS customer service. I will try to post the pics when I get a chance as a reference for anyone else.

Thanks for your replies. I ended up ordering from .ebay.com/itm/321401108995" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.ebay.com/itm/321401108995 . It was $109.99 which included shipping. It's supposed to arrive on Thursday, so I'll keep you posted. I called Scrappy Dog and emailed them a pic and answered a series of questions via email and I'm still waiting for a price. So then I contacted these people and they knew the scooter and got right back to me. So hopefully this was a good decision. It's starting to get warm and I'm ready to ride.

Thanks, they were on my list of choices. Have you purchased from them before?

Hi All,
I need to get a new rim for my 2012 BMS TBX 260. Rim info: MT3.50 DOT I found it on a few sites and was wondering if anyone had a preference on vendors. Can anyone share their experience and help me get back on the road? I'm looking for:
Price Shipping Speed Return Policy, etc.
Thanks,
Pam

I have the 2012 model. I have had it for 2 years. So far I have put on 2180 mi. Chinese batt died last month. Got a new sealed batt from AutoZone and it works great. When it arrived a friend did the pdi. Only issues were the brake fluid screws were so tight they broke as we tried to remove them, but he got them out and replaced them. Be careful with the tabs on the plastics. It's hard to realign and could break easily. Other than that I love it ! I get lots of compliments, and just looks. I tried it at 85 just to see how it handles. My norm is between 40 and 60 per Chinese speedometer. It gets about about 75 mpg. I wish it had an alarm, hookup for phone charger, hookup for mp3 player/ speakers. Those are my planned additions. I use a disk/brake alarm when I'm out and have to park. Otherwise it's garaged. Any other questions just ask. I'll try to answer.

I got my 2012 tbx 260 from .bobcatsmotorsports.com/BMS_260cc_Scooter_TBX_260_EFI_p/bms%20tbx-260%20scooter.htm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.bobcatsmotorsports.com/BMS_260cc_Scooter_TBX_260_EFI_p/bms%20tbx-260%20scooter.htm in April. After all of the horror stories, I've heard about online purchases, I'm glad I ended up purchasing from them. The whole purchasing process was spelled out on the site. There were no surprises and bike arrived in excellent condition and the mco arrived shortly after. They return your calls and emails with any questions before and after the sale. I'm big on customer service and can be hard to please, but believe in giving props when due. BMS really surprised me with their willingness to help with any questions as well. Beth assisted me with my transaction. I think they only have a few colors left. Don't know what you're looking for. I called them before I placed my online order to insure my first choice (white) was available. My only complaint was with the trucking company. One driver and not very experienced in getting something that size off the truck. Luckily my friend who is a very experienced trucker was there to help him unload it. My first year riding has been great and i look forward to Spring! Ask any questions you have and I'll try to answer. Though I haven't had any problems to comment on yet. Yay! (Except a stripped screw and a lost license plate.) Don't ask...lol

OK, good to know. I called BMS and they said I may need to bleed the brake. So we'll see what happens.

Yes, I believe I got it from Auto Zone. They had 3/4 and 3 in the store. I think 4 was only online so I got the 3/4 cause I was anxious to get out and ride...lol

We did replace it when I first got it. But it was a DOT 3/4. Not a straight DOT 4. It was hard to find the DOT 4 in the auto stores. But I'll go find some and try that.
Thank you

[replyingto=prodigit]prodigit[/replyingto] Hi, I just bought the same scooter (2012 white EFI model) and I was wondering how you like your scooter now that you have had it for a year. I have had my for about 2 months. I love it so far, I was just wondering what to expect down the road. Two of my friends handled the PDI. One is a mechanic and the other is the owner of the carb version. So they enjoyed getting it up and running for me. Thanks,
