You need to adjust the air/fuel mix ratio screw you will find it under a cap looking thing on the left side of the carb. What I did on mine was turn it in all the way then I backed it out 1(1/4) turns then went from there. I'm no expert but that might fix the problem

It's a fourstroke and no I didn't do that what size main jets should I go to and how do you tell what size they are?

Okay well as I posted before I just installed a new car a 100 cc bbk and variator weights the scooter runs great....when it wants to sometimes it won't start and other times ill be going down the road and it just stops running like I open the throttle more and it Boggs down and dies then I'm stuck pushing it home. I don't know what it is. help?

I just got a 50mm bbk the scooter now runs great after fixing the probs but I notice it doesn't really have a better top speed just better take off I wanna know how to get more speed?

i just installed the 100cc big bore kit i made sure it was timed and everything i started it up and it ran it was alot faster too but i went down the road a little ways (not even a quarter of a mile) and it stopped running it just died down and then stopped and the only way to keep it at idle is if it is open throttled but even then it only enough to keep it idleing not enough to turn the wheel i have no idea whats wrong!

i just bought a big bore kit it should be in thursday i want to know if i have to change the crank shaft since im going to a 52mm bbk?

yeah i had that valve vent hose hooked to the elbow vent on the carb i got it fixed though

okay well i got it working and going for a little bit but i notice the hose from the valve cover wasnt connected i connected it and it flooded again and when i unplug it it doesnt flood do i have the hoses hooked up wrong?

okay i took of the carb sprayed some gas into the intake and it started right up so im gonna go adjust the float and see where that gets me then i will let ya"ll know

its not leaking out of the carb it floods then soaks the air filter and i did check the petcock and it is also leaking gas where the exhaust bolts to the bottom

i did that already. it leaks when i try to start it. when it turns over it just floods the carb

i just got a brand new carb because of the other carb not have parts. i put the new one on its starts a little bit but it just kept dieing like it was out of gas i put gas in the tank now it doesnt want to start at all all it does is flood badly there is even gas leaking from the exhaust idk whats wrong with it and need help

okay i have the 50 cc lifan t5S scooter and i want to get a big bore kit for it. does anyone know of any good places to get one i looked on ebay and thought i found some good ones but i want other peoples opinions on it. i am wanting to get the 84cc kit is it going to effect anything else on the scooter if i do so?

okay i got every thing wired and and it will start now for a little bit i actually drove it down the road but with out the top cap and needle jet and stuff it wont stay started if anyone has any old carbs for a 50cc laying around has these parts please let me know and we will talk Attachments:
