Wow .... those T10's are screaming.... Nice..... I was thinking that was the headlight..... LOL so I was just about to post the same question..... I have picked up some LED light strips for just under the lip at the floor board. The JCL seems to be about the same as the YY250T as far a bulb count anyway.... How about the actual headlight bulb ? Also, has anyone added the fan indicator? We can address how to accomplish that later, but just need to get my bulb count together so I can place one order and be done. Like you said wheezy... I'm looking for about 10 minutes before I say heck with it.... I'm going to class and get it from the people that teach us. I too want to avoid resistors. oh.. did we mention licence plate led... not worried about brightness so much.... just that it's LED. I may need to start a spreadsheet to keep all this square in my head..... lol Thanks teach... bring ya the apple to tomorrow class.. promise... lol

Just auto zone.... but like Alleyoop's link.. there are so many capacities, shapes, sizes, and a lot with the same dia. nipples. So wasn't sure if there is a certain range to stay in or if it acts like a capacitor in a way... More volume of fuel ready to go.

Is there a recommended fuel filter to replace that one? Haven't gotten to mine yet but have been collecting parts all week for the big tear down this weekend. There had to be 20 to choose from with various dia. in/outlets. some had multiple choice that you could cut back and have an even larger dia. to accommodate your lines. What do you guy recommend?

What a bizarre scoot... I decided to hook up the multimeter to the battery and ride with it to get a better understanding of my new ride. Here are my findings... When idling, I bounced around 13.2 to 13.4 it seemed to be gradually climbing. (It hung at 13 flat and only got to 13.2 with revs a few days back before changing the stock oil).
So I take off and in my parking lot I began seeing high 13's. Got on my neighborhood road and with speeds of 30-35, she held a pretty steady 14.1-14.2
Here's where it gets strange.... The high beams did not change the read out at all... But when I used the passing high beam switch in front of the left grip (the trigger type switch for short bursts of high beam) the voltage plummeted. 13.7-13.8 and would recover instantly to the 14.1-2 range when released. When back in my parking lot, held the high 13's. 13.8-9 Got parked and sat to observe idling.. 13.7-8 I had just been sitting and idling and was only seeing 13.2-4
Then the fan kicked in.... dropped quick to the 13.2-4 range again and slowly kept dropping to 12.8. But would climb quickly with revs.
At that point I just shut her down. I feel much better about the charging ability.... surly the oil change didn't make that big of a change? or maybe it did.... I got on it a bit in the neighborhood and felt a definite improvement in power.
Just sharing my test to add to the knowledgebase of this awesome university!

Got it.. Thanks! I did pick synthetic for the gear oil and regular as you show in your video for the motor. Is syn. ok in the Gear when new? I appear to have the same setup as in your videos showing gear and oil change. The 244.

Hi neighbor... I'm in Phx too. I've been following your post, and learning along the way. I just got the same scoot a few days ago and I am so glad I found this forum. These guys are good! Where are you in the valley? It would be great if we are close and could "study together" here at our University. LOL I see you got yours 8/14. Was HOTT about then. I wanted to ask, because I am already thinking about next summer on this baby. How did your temp run? Did you hear the fan on a lot? And voltage? I see you commute 50 miles daily on yours. I on the other hand, commute 1.7 miles. But it is my only transportation, so I do ride it daily. I'm concerned with charging on this scoot. I draw more mAh off the battery than I can put back in it with such short run time. 2 starts, maybe 4 if I stop for anything after work along with bulbs and fan etc. I also live in a apt. complex and have no access to ele. for a battery tender. Thought about the solar ones they say can output "up to" 1.25 amps. so bet on half of of that huh.... But we do live in the Valley of the Sun! I'm going to go L.E.D. in every possible replacement. The math is mind blowing when you start adding it up... Plus a great post on here in the Videos. A different R/R with vastly better performance even with fan on. Anyway, didn't mean to get off topic. But would be nice collaborate on our scoots.

I just bought my first scooter.. Jonway YY250 '11 after my Kawi 1600 Vulcan died. I've been 2 wheel exclusive for for 3 years now. I am gonna be sitting at the front of the classroom with an apple for the teach everyday.... As I study and study on this post.... I realize I don't know, what I don't know... so I need all the help I can get.
The dealer just graduated me with a handshake and the owners manual.... I may have already failed... as I assumed he prepped it correctly. I found out i have about 60 miles with whatever liquid it is they come over with. I may take a cab to go pick up real oil and coolant before starting her again. Anyway.... Lot's to learn here... Please feel free to contact me on what classes I really need to take first.
