That just ruined my day. I love little kids but I have classmates and guys from my unit on THE WALL. God bless the women who served and the all the USO girls and Donut Dollies for what they did.

I seem to remember folks having battery problems with scoots that had alarms or remote starters. I had them on my old UM Matrix 150 but not on the Xpeed so I can't say for sure.

Weather related deaths are sad and I feel for the folks up north and those down south. I'm chair of our property owner's assoc. roads committee and I'm about 25% over budget for snow removal and we're getting about 6" today. Feb. was our coldest on record.
We're supposed to be able to put our boats on the water beginning March 1. Problem - the ice is 12" thick!

Amen to the Battery Tender Jr. Even with that, I need to recharge every few weeks. The fuel injection system seems to suck the charge down.

I generally love my Xpeed but it seems to fit somebody about 5'6". I get a tired back after about 50 miles.

Hi all! I just wanted to say I'm still alive and kicking. We have spent the last 3 months working on projects around the our property. We thought it would take 3-5 years to get it to where we wanted and this is our 4th summer here.We've done minimal kayaking, fishing, swimming and scooter riding but that's changing. I actually got out in the boat the other day for the first time since mid-June. I managed to get a 19" bass, the best of the year.
Scooters? I bought a little TOMOS moped for Dr. Mom and she rode it for the first time yesterday. She did well. Once she feels comfortable, we'll be able to ride together. I'm also seeing a number of "new" scooters around the lake and I'll try to get some sort of organized activity together.
