tvnacman.blogspot.com/You need switched power to the yellow wire on the old 4pin regulator plug . If you use a relay triggered from the white regulator wire (imo) is best . John

tvnacman.blogspot.com/You powered the lights from the battery to test them , the bulbs are good . The problem the headlights do not get powered from dc from the battery , they get powered ac from the stator . When you bring up the rpms do they get brighter ? John

They advance but only about 1-2 degrees, not much at all and they jump around a little. If you have a timing light put it on and you will see. They do have advaning CDIs that are FIXED advanced and also like the one I have on it advances starting around 3K but is retarded for start ups so it it easy on your starter clutch. Alleyoop tvnacman.blogspot.com/sometimes a video is better , this video is the cdi that Alley is talking about . John

tvnacman.blogspot.com/If you go from 6 to 8 pole stator your going to need to change magneto also . I had my bout with the 6pole changing over to 11pole was the best thing I think I have done to my scooter . Stable lights and charging all the time and extra power , even to boost another scooter or motorcycle . John

tvnacman.blogspot.com/That coil is good the cdi is a hype porformance . Based on your weight I agree with Alley on the lighter roller/slider weights and a 115mm variator . You need to figure out what your top RPM is and remove the rollers and weigh them , then we need to reduce the weight sometimes mixing weights works well . We can help you through this , and I have the real deal parts . John

tvnacman.blogspot.com/Can we see what cdi you bought ? The variator is a nice help , but needs to be matched to rider weight and terrain . I call most HP CDI'S hype performance . John
