Thanks John. i wont even ask how you know this.  i got over there and saw the dash lights were in the ON position so i tried it and it started. its home now. Now i have to order a new ignition and most likely re-do the glove box and seat lock. UUHHGG!!! I understand electrical . John |

did any of the muffler mounts come off the swing arm ? I was interested in the section of the engine that the stator mounts to .

CDI's are cheap . Its good to have a spare anyway . I have the orange ones. Interested ? PM for details

I'm wondering if the fuel injection might need remapping . to richen it up a little .

Were you wot when this happens? I think you might be too lean. Check your muffler for a blockage or broken baffle.
