red wire in the bottom right hole , black is the center . top left switch needs to be long (dc) . turn the dial counter clock wise to 20 .
tocuh the battery red to pos and black to neg , tell me what you get scooter not running .

i have to get a meter, but i have two batteries, one brand new, i does the same thing,about the meter i just dont know how to use it, it has dials and i dont know how to set it so i can read it right post a pic of the meter I can walk you through it . two batterys same problem , it could be the solenoid . When you don't jump it does it click ? John |

Do you have a meter ? It could be the solenoid , but you have to see what the battery voltage drops to while cranking . You can fully charge a battery , but it may still be bad . You can bring it to an auto place and have it load tested .
If you just want to throw parts at it I have a soleniod for it .

it may have had to do with a rapid change in air densidy . It took some time to recalibrate .

Lands is the 02 sensor.
Has the scooter sat for anytime or was it damp this morning?

JR , you make some very interesting points above . DC CDI using hight current stealing from the charging system . The AC CDI has it own power coil isolated from the charging system . So charging problems and battery voltage has no effect if the engine will run .
Sorry JR I don't see how the cdi effects cold starting , if spark is present with fuel , with a well adjusted valve train . The scooter should start without trouble . I could see on a cold day with a low charge or weak battery a DC CDI not firing .
In short I like the ac cdi ignition , it is only dependent on the coil from the stator , the cdi itself and the coil and the plug .
