Well I was eyeballing a scooter $400 shipped. I was thinking more like a 4 way gamble. $100 I can Handel for a loss. If I get the goods I pony up the other $300 to the others and then they know its a go. The more for the test the less of a loss.

I was thinking about it , if anyone would be interested in the venture pm me . I would be willing to gamble I would like to off set the potential loss , then make good on it if is is real and can get it titled .

what is an "MOS" do they mean MSO or MCO , How will you get it titled ?

Did you find the regulator ? Did you unplug the regulator and check for shorts ?

I agree, JR. I would think that the only adjustment available would be for the idle speed - not air/fuel mixture. I don't think the idle speed is mechanical on fuel injection systems , I think it is done electronically within the throttle body . The butterfly needs to be in a designed position . A/F is done by stepper motor and or pulse width . John

I bet it is the throttle stop screw(it stops the butterfly at the zero throttle position) .
Can you post a picture so we can see whats is going on there .

the voltage from the cdi/tci I have tried to measure with a high end Fluke . I was not able to get a reading the pulse is too quick . Did the engine run after the pistion install ? Was it running before the pistion was changed ?

The stator generates its own power , there should not be any power leads to the stator. The regulator is a different story . If you not getting pulse your not going to get spark .

were you reading the voltage on the pulse wire while cranking ?
