You have to take the front off to get to them no to ways about it, your scoot is the same body style as mine. You need to take the front cover off two screws , then the windshield 6 screws then the instrument cover then you can get your hand down in there to get at the lights. Alleyoop

Wishful thinking, not possible. I changed my headlights 2 days ago actually & had to take off the whole front panel but i did make a short cut instead of putting all the screws back, i left off the 4 hardest screws (2 that were facing the back and another 2 that need a ratchet) so now all i need is a drill to take out all the screws...i did that shortcut cause we all know that the headlight bulbs tend to burn out often

Thanks all. Now I need to know, according to my book, my bulbs are 35w. But they are not bright enough for me to see good with at night. What should I replace them with? Thanks for all your input.

I would just take off the front now you there couse the 2 inside for the cluster are hard to get to ,on mine the bulbs are wired in or loosks like ,you need mighty small hand to reach in there ,the 2 bolts should ratchet right out ,then there t more Philips on the inside outer edges of the cluster ,might as well check everything while your there I found many loose bots an nuts in mine ,an it brand new ,a lot of guys are replaceing with led light with less watts but more light ,not sure of the part# there are a few guys one ebay that can match them up or hear

I know my scooter said right on the plastic up front 35w, but my bulbs were 25w I changed then to 35w. Got to be careful what bulbs you put in (don't melt your plastic).

I had my Roketa apart to verify what bulbs I had, and they were indeed held in place with a kind of wire "bracket" held in place by a couple very-difficult-to-get-at screws. Not something you can hope to do by just reaching your hand up underneath. Prepare for some frustration.

I have 2-250b's & I have had 50/50watt bulbs in them for over 4years & have not had a problem with any plastics melting...The bulbs are nice & bright,I actually have people flick there lights for me to dim them...I have only had to change 2 bulbs in this time frame...Here is the link to the bulbs......I think there great....http:// .motopartsmax.com/index.php/main_page/product_info/products_id/11115/tID/3/cPath/34_103 or you can try this link also. the bulb cost more from the following site, but the shipping is free....http:// .ebay.com/itm/Head-Light-Bulb-50cc-to-250cc-Scooters-Moped-ATVs-Quad-Go-Kart-Buggy-/180966136857?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a226c1c19&vxp=mtr

either get a higher watt bulb or go with LED's ....i doubt higher watt bulbs will melt your plastic

If you find yourself leaning toward LEDs, search for my thread from a few months ago about that. Was posting and PMing about finding equivalent LED bulbs, and was initially steered in the direction of ?H4? equivalents, but when I took my front plastics off I found I had different bulbs, not H4s. I did, however, find an LED equivalent on line. Haven't done the replacement yet, too much hassle to take all that plastic off, but probably will eventually.

I have been wondering about LED's. I have trouble seeing at night and the brighter the better. Has any one else used LED's and if so how are they working out? Thanks all for your input.
