Hi everybody, I have a Jonway YY250T and I really have two things wrong. !.) My right headlight bulb went out. How does this come out ( looks like from the front, inside the light itself with a T-socket push and twist bulb) and what do I replace it with..? Can I get it at maybe Autozone or on-line only. 2) With my radio off when I accelerate my radio speakers make a little buzzing sound which increases in frequency when speeding up. So, lets recap. 1) remove and take apart headlight to replace bulb and 2) weird connection making buzzing sound from speakers. thanks for your help everybody barry

Hi barry,welcome--I can help a little with the headlight problem--I have the Roketa 250 B and it is the same thing I am told--some people can reach up inside by worming their hand up thru the frame but I couldn't get my big arm in there so I took the front windshield cowling off and managed to reach it --then some cant do it that way so you have to take that off and lay the headlight out --some of the members have been replacing the bulbs with led bulbs--Auto Zone didn't have em here in my town so if I want I can order them from a vendor here on our forum..I probably will this summer--I did replace my brake lights with red led lights ,Auto Zone had those for about 12 bucks--they were easy to reach, just raise the seat and remove 2 bolts and pull the cover out and do the job --as for the radio noise,in the speakers, you must have a ground wire frayed or a diode going bad in the circuit--other members ,like JR our Admin,is expert on that...good luck and good riding, fflintstone

Thanks fflintstone, I can reach the back of the light from behind but the plug with the bulb looks like it's to big to come out the hole from behind. It looks like it has to come out from the front though the clear plastic. Look at the picture of your bike (mine too, exact some one) . Now pretend you can reach through the plastic then push down and twist on the bulb and bring it out. Am I right or just going crazy.

Flintstone is right about the headlights now about the buzzing noise it is the ing being pick up in the stereo and old timer trick to take care of it was to put a knott in the coil wire just a simple slip knott will do

justbugging2 might be on to something there--the noise is probably caused by the charging system, like the whine gets higher with more revs, and on our old automobiles we would add a capacitor to the coil wire or to the speaker and ground it to the frame...I wonder if we can find the old style metal caps in a can...hmmm---good luck ,good riding, fflintstone

Now boys, I still don't know how to get the bulb out. Can you pull the plug out with the bulb in place back through that hole..? Do I turn and twist that plug too..?

I too have the 250b scooter. You just can't turn and pull out, it will be difficult to change the light bulbs by reaching up from under because of this clip, I took mine front off, laid on bench and it was easy ;D Attachments:

I have a YY250T also and all I did was pull the panel in front of the windshield off, then twist and remove socket and bulb.

Yes, you can do that with the little running lights, but the headlights bulbs are a little more difficult, if you have the ones I have.

I just went from 25w to 35w, not sure about the LED types, just have to be careful which ones you buy. There is others on here that would know about that, JR, Alleyoop, Cruiser...
