I decided to start a 250 to 300cc scooter information reference for knowing what is the basic things on a lot of these 250cc to 300cc scooters and try to break them up in categories that help people understand the type of scooter they have. I've started with with the basic 5 type 250cc to 300cc scooters that is the most popular and we can add any others that come along. This is a continuous project and I'm going to sticky it at the top and leave it open for any and all to post information regarding these scooters from something as simple as a spark plug to where to find a side panel.

THIS IS NOT a place to ask questions on how to fix your scooter, we have sections for this HOWEVER it is a place to ask about a part for one of these scooters if it is not already listed in the category of your request. When a part is found by any member here then myself or one of the other moderators will update the permanent list so members won't have to read page after page to look to find a part.

We are going to try to use everything from links to part numbers for anything for these scooters and if at anytime a member discovers a link or seller that no longer lists the part or the link is dead we will do our best to keep the reference updated so all information is current.

If a member finds a good find on Ebay or Amazon we will list the information about the part and a link to the seller but not the link to the part that was purchased because on both of these sites link information is removed or updated every 90 days. The seller may indeed still sell or have the mentioned part but not have it currently listed or the price may have changed especially if it was a part that was up for bid.

We will list any vendors who a member says they got a part from including our preferred vendors we have on the banners but this is NOT a place for members to discuss or air grievances with vendors, we have a section for that nor is it a place for VENDORS to to solicit or advertise their goods.

This reference isn't about price, we all like to get a good deal but rather it's a place for members to look at and find parts and information that deals with their kind, type or body style of scooter. For members who have been around scooters for awhile they know one style of scooter can be called many names by many sellers and manufacturers but new members sometimes are at a loss when it comes to this information.

As I said this is a work in progress so I hope that everyone will add to this and it becomes a most helpful resource of information for these scooters. All the parts I've listed first myself are for reference only and any member who knows or finds another identical part regardless of the price please let me know by posting it and I or another mod will list the valuable information you supply.
If any member finds a mistake on one of these listings for any reason, labeled wrong, doesn't work, etc. please let myself or one of the other mods know, we want accuracy as the up-most concern and mistakes will be made.

Also I would like to encourage any mod or upgrade parts you find and if such parts are listed we will label them as such so they won't be confused with OEM parts.

The sky is the limit doesn't matter if it is a simple bolt to a better part from the hardware store we want to list it. This is about information not price. We all know sometimes that a part one day that is cheaper at one supplier is useless if it's out of stock and even paying a higher price sometimes is what one has to do to keep their pride and joy running.

As I mentioned this is not a place for soliciting or parts specials however if you run across a real bargain then go to the vendor section, list the special and then just drop a line in a reply with the link to the thread you listed the special on. This will let people see it, discuss it and also give vendors the opportunity to list specials and comments too in that section. We all like to get a good price.

On standard maintenance replacement items such as batteries, tires, bulbs and such I will list one for each scooter for a reference only, lots of people like different brands especially tires so this again will be a chance to list those good deals in the vendor section.

Don't be surprised to see me ask "hey guys what is the dimensions of the battery that fits the CfMoto Fashion" or even what is the largest size that will fit, again this is about information.

This reference will take time, I haven't even made a dent on it but it will be an invaluable source as it grows with information.

I found that fork seals for a Honda CN250 Reflex fit and work perfectly. And for a lot less that new fork struts.

I did buy the part seals from a Honda dealer near where we were at the time. (We are full time RVers and I haul the scoot on a rack on the rear of the motor home and a Smart behind that.)

No joke. I ordered a drive shaft on Tuesday at around 11:30 AM and it came on Thursday at 10 AM. Florida to upstate New York in less than 48 hours. Here's the really good part. Honda Helix shaft that matches the Chinese shaft-$66.05. The PFS shaft-$29.99.

Ok, which bikes does the fork fit into? The BMS/VOG 260 bikes too?
I know the Honda Rebel forks are very soft in suspension, and the suspension on the BMS TXB 260 is a tad too stiff for my taste.
