I ordered a Michelin tire. Shouldn't have to deal with this kind of stuff with a brand new scooter but I guess that's what you get when you buy a Chinese scooter. Should be up a running good in a week or two. Thanks for all the help. Does anyone have any opinions on windshields?

The valve stems are good. I sprayed some soapy water on the tire. It's leaking out of three of the treads. Thanks everyone for all the help!

Or is this filter good enough? Also have a leaky tire that is brand new. Looking for a decent quality replacement. Don't want to buy the same POS tire. Any suggestions? Attachments:

If your problem still exists after you clean the carb really good, I would suggest checking out your CDI. My old scooter was having similar problems and replacing that fixed it. I'm not sure how to test a CDI (I just threw money at my scooter and it worked that time) but it's worth checking out.

So with this new set-up a larger carburetor was installed. It currently has a really cheap looking piece of foam attached to the intake of the carb for a filter. Any ideas on a filter that might work? It has to curve upwards almost immediately behind the carburetor.

My new scooter. 2013 Bashan Peace B09R. Bought it brand new and took it to a guy who put a 100cc BBK on it. Runs 40mph easy, about half throttle. Not gonna take it over that until I'm sure it's broke in. Changing the oil this weekend and then maybe I'll open her up! Attachments:

New motor

My scooter is broken (driveshaft bearings) and I was thinking of buying a new motor. The broken engine is a 139qmb and I was curious if I could put a larger motor into it without having to mod a whole bunch of stuff? Are there larger motors that will "bolt on" to the current frame setup?

Ok. Think I might be looking to get me a new scooter then. The rest of the scooter is not nice enough to start dumping that kind of money into it. My scooter now is a 2008 sunny style scooter. I think the sunny style scooters are probably the cheapest ones out there. Any recommendations on scooters that will be reliable with maybe a little less maintenance required?

Oh, and there was a little oil under the stator.

I'm pretty sure it's on right. The key is in the proper place and the old stator was melted on one side and not the other, so the problem was there before. I noticed it making noise before but the noise was coming from the other side of the crankshaft. This time it was really bad, I think, because it was rubbing the stator whereas before the stator was slowly ruined by the problem getting worse and worse all the time. For the problem I think it is, is it a tear out the engine type of thing?

Ok. Changed out the stator and put a new flywheel on and it has spark and starts. New problem. I think either the camshaft or bearing (not sure how it's all put together) but while the scooter is running the flywheel spins slightly off center. I turned it off and quit running it. The magneto was melted because the flywheel was rubbing against it. Is this a major thing to fix or can it be done easily?

Sorry for the delay in replying. I will check on the exact motor type next time I go to my buddy's place. He checked all the electrical and I trust him because he does avionics/electrical on business jets. I just do assembly stuff. I will ask him what readings he found that were bad on his fluke meter.
I found a new flywheel but am waiting on the puller. It's supposed to be here on Tuesday.
Basically my scooter is a piece of crap. I can change my profile picture to my scooter but it's somewhat embarrassing.

Ok, new to this forum. I was getting major runaround and some bad advice at another forum, so this one was suggested to me.
My scooter quit running. I checked valves, checked for fuel flow, has new CDI, ignition coil/wire, and spark plug. Had a buddy help me with the volt meter electrical stuff and it seems that the stator is bad. Got a new stator but now I can't get the flywheel off. I tried a steering wheel puller but that did not work. I ordered one of the pullers that are made for these things, but I believe I messed up my flywheel with the steering wheel puller. Any suggestions on a flywheel? Anything I've found on ebay says it's for bigger scooters.
