My new scooter. 2013 Bashan Peace B09R. Bought it brand new and took it to a guy who put a 100cc BBK on it. Runs 40mph easy, about half throttle. Not gonna take it over that until I'm sure it's broke in. Changing the oil this weekend and then maybe I'll open her up! Attachments:

So with this new set-up a larger carburetor was installed. It currently has a really cheap looking piece of foam attached to the intake of the carb for a filter. Any ideas on a filter that might work? It has to curve upwards almost immediately behind the carburetor.

Or is this filter good enough? Also have a leaky tire that is brand new. Looking for a decent quality replacement. Don't want to buy the same POS tire. Any suggestions? Attachments:

change your valve stems that is the most likely place your tire is leaking and the china stems are not worth a sh**

The valve stems are good. I sprayed some soapy water on the tire. It's leaking out of three of the treads. Thanks everyone for all the help!

I ordered a Michelin tire. Shouldn't have to deal with this kind of stuff with a brand new scooter but I guess that's what you get when you buy a Chinese scooter. Should be up a running good in a week or two. Thanks for all the help. Does anyone have any opinions on windshields?

I have had really good luck with kenda k413 on my scooter.. Replaced both front and rear with those.. Really good traction, and last a good while.. Also only about 50 a tire.. So not up in price like Michelin or Pirelli.. Seem to be made really well.. I have a 1/4 mile gravel driveway to go up and down, and no problems yet..
