Brake Reservoir Banjo Bolt I threaded a new 8.8 steel bolt into the damaged brake reservoir thread which cleaned up nicely. The newly acquired banjo bolt went in and out without a problem. I now have three spare banjo bolts for any problem I might have in the future. Reservoir is aluminum, and that could have made cleaning up thread easier...not sure. If anyone needs a banjo bolt, almost new, i'll gladly beat "dirtbags" price.

Re:Banjo Bolt
I found four on ebay, Bikestripper1, and they all look good. Will try tomorrow to put it back together, so long as brake reservoir thread cooperates. Ebay This is a part from a running 2008 Linhai Aeolus300 with 752 miles on it and a Certificate of Destruction. Bike was in a front end accident and sat for a year prior to us stripping it. All electronics have been tested and were found to be working. It may fit other years and models. Please do your own research to make sure parts will fit your bike before buying.

You're welcome and I'm right next door as in Irish decent, you don't get any more Irish than Jack Ryan other than maybe Murphy! JR or maybe Jack O'Sullivan :

If you think this price is high, check out other dirtbag items on ebay, which there are many.

My scooter had 0.9 miles on the clock when I received it. The fan plug had not been connected so one has to wonder if unit had been run HOT for first .9 miles by factory/dealer.

No the gearbox will blow oil forever out the air vent. Per the YY250P manual the gearbox holds about 6-1/2 ounces of gear oil. I put 7 ounces in. Also most a cup full. JR Thank you JR ;D

Can the gear oil be filled to the top of the gear box in this scooter or is there a specified amount it takes.

Is it ok to fill the gear oil to the top allowing for any excess to drain back into pan.

I just took delivery of an '08 Linhai Aeolus 260cc and along with other problems, my main concern is that it runs hot. It has 0.9 miles and has not been off the stand. I've flushed the radiaior (filthy) using Prestone flush, burped to the point I now have indigestion : , but have to shut it down when it reaches the red temperature line. Yes, I need help Please!
