I ride all year around unless i see ice/snow. road last week in 15 Deg with no problem. Like richard said i thank it's a carb-running too lean. If he is in fact running rich and has a primmer pump on the carb, he might be flooding it if he twist's the throttle as the enricher kicks in.
Just a thought-- did that to me on the stock carb i current have on untell i went rich on the A/F mix and now i squeeze the handle and hit start and never touch the throttle. When it warms up (summer time) i adjust the A/F mix leaner.

Humm that is odd. Now i don't have a burb, but just looking at it it seems like some kinda water pump seep hole. looked around and found this.. not that it's of much help but.. heck i wanted to know as well. burgmanusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=55188In some odd way i think that if it is, it would be a good place to put one if only because if you had a water pump seal fail and it leaks right near the oil fill... you're going to look and investigate ASAP. Hey just a thought.

I'm not that old.. yet. But i do remember having a few Crown Cola's, and if candy and icee pop's where to be had, well mom can make them when she makes a few loves of wheat bread. Tough times, i would not trade and would pay a better dime to have back.Fresh homemade bread and churned butter?-- there is no, not even one compersion to that .. not in any store bought i've tasted. Now I grew up in the country and we only went "to town" about every 2 weeks-- to the coop (MFA coop -Columbia Mo) for supply's. But that was ok because we as kid's didnt have time for all that in town stuff.. we had a NEW tree fort to work on, and this time we need it to be higher then 50'.. too much gravel dust from trucks at 50'.

Love this thread JR. I remember almost all of this. I also sold Grit as a kid, had about 25-30 people i sold them too. One older man Mr. Fisher i will never forget every time i came by we would look at it together and talk for about 30 to 45 min's.. He was about 60 at the time. Had that Grit toke bag as well. A time when they would send you as many as you thank you will sell.. no up front cost, no tricks, scams or BS. A good way to help instill responsibility and made you feel like a real businessman. A REAL newspaper that just about anyone could find something he/she would like... even a 10 year old.

That does look good, and whats even icing on the cake is that the food you harvest doesn't have all the inset-asides and what not. So it's much better tasting just to say the least. Looks to me like your a one family farmers market.
This is by far one of the best threads I've seen to date.

He used the force collie. larrball, LMAO! It's taken me 2 days to understand the comment. It's tough being dyslexic sometimes but can make for great laughs at yourself many time. Remember: "When life gives you melons, you may be dyslexic"! M/C ;D No need to DI-leX because "Friend's Doin't let other friends ride without glass.$$" (unless ther not lookin/diffrent story)

Put in a new fuel sending unit today. The little push washer that holds the float/rod/contacts in place backed off enough that the contacts went bad and a repair is simply just buying time. The new one works better then the old one ever did. After plugin in and testing the new one for any problems i installed it. Had 1/4 tank and the new one read ALMOST 1/4 tank. Went to the filling station and put in $1.00 and looked in the tank to see it at 3/4 full, turned the key and right at 3/4 full. Not bad and no rod bending or float negotiations needed.

Took the CVT cover off to look at my belt and put a bit of grease in the CVT cover where the bendex rides. All looked good other then a little glazing on the belt.
