I remember reading a year or so ago that at one Italian motorcycle show the Police confiscated a blatant "Clone" of the MP3 by a Chinese manufacturer. I wonder if this is it.

A Gilroy Indian. I was so sorry to see them go under. They were half the price of the Kings Mountain bikes and with S&S motors better clones than the Harley they copied.

What I always find so fascinating about this is that the RMS Olympic was a sister ship to the Titanic. She sailed through WW I as a troop transport and served until the 1930s when she was scrapped. Like the Titanic she was the biggest ship of her time but wasn't famous because she stayed afloat. As somebody said in Raise the Titanic, "The only thing special about this ship is that she sank".

Keep us posted on the rides and owner stories. I'm sure it will be tempting you to do long rides before long. My first shaft drive bike had me take it on a 3500 mile ride through Canada in a week.
