Look at dimmer switch and disconnect the plastic connectors apply something like Penetrox on blades and reconnect. This is good to do every time you have to open wire connectors.Use a swab to apply. Maybe backtracking any past repairs and view nearby wiring that may have been accidentally dislocated. This just a suggestion of course! Good luck- P8A Penetrox Anti-Oxidant: Petroleum Base with suspended zinc particles,,,for aluminum or copper connections

My existing belt is a 906- 22.5- 30,, Can someone tell me what those numbers mean? Also , does replacement belt need to have those exact numbers? Could either of these used 918-22-30 or a 906-22-30 instead Thanks

I bumped into them through Qlink. They may act as a sub-contractor for a seller. You buy an item and before you know it this name pops up as seller. IMHO in the future I shall steer away from these kind of sellers.

As with any electrical repair, see if spades are snug.Look closely and see that they are in correctly.

Bought a used 150 Pegasus recently which had very low miles. It takes a while to build confidence in a used scooter. I started with short drives. All seemed well at first ,until stopping at gas station soon after buying it. Scoot would not start noticed headlight ,blinkers etc not lighting up.I had a nice push home, UGH.I suspected battery and charged it and all seemed well. Things were well for a time and rides were longer and okay.Went to fill up the second time and it happened again. Same gas station too. Unbelievable, and a hell of push home. This time I removed seat and started investigating.I also removed the front area near ignition switch. Started playing with the starter relay and noticed light flickering.I think some non mechanical genius was tampering with something they had no knowledge of.This scooter had very low mileage and the wires on the molded plug that is fed from the relay looked as if it had been severely handled. The female spades were loose on the male spade prongs from being tampered with too many times. I pinched the female part with needle nose to tighten them up. So far so good! My lesson is"never shut off engine without trying signal lts to be sure there is power". No signal lts working ,drive home as slowly as possible (going too fast may cause too much load am magneto ultimately killing engine)-DO NOT KILL ENGINE.No more pushy for me. I have ordered a new relay in case but would like to know where to buy the molded connection with female spade connection.

black and white black is hot white neutral find a cord that has been removed from an old not used fan or appliance that has a male two prong plug on it (120v) split the ends and using wirenuts attach one unmarked wire to black and other marked (ribbed) to neut (white) be sure the power is fused or has circuit braker to prevent fire hazzard etc. The worst you can do is trip a breaker....if so fan may be shot? good luck!

OK! I like my scooter and you like yours! What I would like to know is how many scooter brands that are as good but less known about. After Genuine Scooter Co. (made in USA) I would always prefer a Japanese brand above all others but I own what I thought was a Taiwanese brand (my second choice) but turns out to be a Chinese brand,my last choice. It is a KYMCO Super 8 150. Also , I must add that I an very pleased with it thus far. I have only put 150 miles on it so far. It is fast enough to get me a ticket most any place I ride it except the freeway in which I prefer to stay off of. I am not a long distance rider, I prefer a car for that. The scooter is for fun , pleasure , adventure etc. Okay owners of Chinese scoots that have been good , bad , or otherwise let us know what it is that like besides the color. Price, efficient, durable,or what makes it possible for you to buy (or not buy) another from the same manufacturer.Tank owner’s etc. lets hear from you.
