I would check the intake for cracks when you had to lay it down the impack could cause a stress crack in it and as it warms up it will open up causing problems good luck

the material is what they use on jet skis seats it is almost rubber like it will hold up to the weather great call these people up and say Chris sent you

so the weather has taken a toll on the seat of my scooter so I decided to recover it and here are some pics of the process so take the seat off the bike and take off all hardware so you can get all around the edge to get all of the staples out I used an old flat blade screw drive that I hammer the end over to be able to pry up to staples with I got some new cover material from an upphostrey shop make sure you have enough to cover the seat start by pulling the material over the low spot in the seat and tack it down with a couple staples on each side then pull the material tight in the opposite direction and tack it down working from the tightest binds pull and smooth the material out then trim off the extra and finish stapling all around then you just put everthing back together hope you all like

i suggest getting some gel packs that you can put in the frig that will fit inside your helmet it will help keep your whole body cool as most of the heat you body get rid of is through the head
