Does anyone know off hand what the size of the roller weights are on this bike? I have an extra set of dr pulley slider weights that are 20X12X12g and was wondering if these would fit in my wife's bike.

clutch pads

On my 250B, how do you know when to change the clutch pads. Do you go by miles, or when it feels like it is slipping? I was having a little problem, so I took the cover off and found my bell housing nut was loose. While I was in there I cleaned everything up, and noticed the clutch pads were kinda thin. not sure how thick they were new. Also, I ordered some dr pulley slider weights and looking to get a new belt too. What is a good belt to get? The bike has 3200 miles and thought I would just replace the belt while I had her apart. Its a 856-23-30.

Bad stator?

Thanks to all for your help. I installed the R?R I got from Oregon motor parts, and my volts went from 13.37 to 14.98! What a difference from just adding a quality part.

hello all, Does anyone know what flasher relay I need for my mc250b. I installed led turn signal bulbs, and I have hyperflash. would like to replace the relay instead of installing the resistors to the turn signal wires if possible. My current flasher relay has two wires coming out of it that plugs into a connector.

I got one from xthrottle. It's 230 cranking amps and 11.2Ah. I think it was 55.00 with free shipping. So far so good.

Bad stator?

In Ohio, I don't think we have to run headlights. However, I will always run mine to try and be more visible. I have had enough butt wipes pull out in front of me that I want to be as visible as possible. I think they see it's a scooter so it must be going slow so they pull out. I have been close enough to see that they are looking right at me, then pull out!

after I sanded the paint off the ground I got a little more volts. I just ordered the Oregon motorcycle parts R/R. I hope this helps.

Bad stator?

thanks JR. I already sanded the paint for the ground, and I installed the gy6 relay. I never thought about replacing those other bulbs. I have read where some replaced the R/R with one from Oregon something. It's $95.00 and they say it gave a little more volts. Do you think this might help? I'm willing to spend the money if it would make a difference.

You are correct JR. She only has 400 miles on it, and it's a 2011. We haven't rode in two years due to shoulder surgeries. Maybe that's all her stator will put out, I don't know. I did replace the tail lights and blinkers with led bulbs. I just don't want to go through the hassle of changing the stator if I don't need to. All the wire connections and grounds seem to be good.

yellow wire to yellow wire. I revved up to 5000 rpm and got the 70 volts. when I have the multimeter on the battery to check, it shows I'm getting about 13.37 volts getting to the battery at 5000 rpms. My mc250b shows about 14.4 at 5000rpms. Both of them have new batteries in them.

Bad stator?

Hello all. My wife's 2011 250cc jonway doesn't seem to be charging. I only get a reading of 12.62 at the battery while running up to 5000 rpms. I changed out the relay and rectifier/regulator and no help. I do get a reading of 71-73 volts at 5000rpms at the yellow stator wires. However, when I do an ohms test I get a reading of 7.6-8.0. Would this mean the stator is bad? thanks, Jim
