I bought a burgman 650 and I gave the 260 to my wife but I'm doing some custom stereo stuff to the burgman I will post some pics for sure.

No heat just gently bend it to shape with your hands it bends easy

Thanks everyone for the props, and trailheadmike after I did a rough cut I used a air grinder and cleaned and straightened the edges. You could use an electric one if you didn't have a air grinder.

Tycomike, I used the factory rubber snap in one's to make template then I just used finishing screws on top to hold in place. I didn't use the old rubber ones. this is the saw I used.

Thought I'd share again everybody. Here's the finished job. had to remove all factory back rest and make bracket w/seat latch also. after I rubber coated it. with trunk mount plate on it. put together. another finished look. and the back rest that came off.

Damin69 a seat like that around 200 because of the material that's Italian ostrich and real leather but normal vinyl around 100 to 150 and trailheadmike thanks for that link I done mine a little different I'm posting as we speak.. Check it out let me know what you think.. Thanks

Lol,, Thank you guys so much. No I do this for a living. And I also fabricate. I'm on another project now making a bracket for a rear trunk to fit the vog 260. I'll post for everyone to see. Thanks again all.

The guy that came over to help me get the electrical problem fixed said it was a 27 or 28mm and the only reason I put this one on was because I put that exhaust on. I does run 10 times better with the new carb. And the plug is starting to look like a chocolate color
