Hi guys any idea's scooter start first time as soon as I press start button when crankcase is hand tight but as soon when I tighten with wrence the starter or idler pully wont move tried every way of fitting the starter or crankcase cover everything line up. When crankcase cover tight and starter out I try to move idler pully by hand by sticking my finger in starter hole but it wont turn a bit looks like its jammed between crankcase and cover. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong

hi Allyoop my selonoid was fried the bike shop had to order one so they lend me a second hand one. i've it in starter only spin when outside. the engine felt stiff when turning over by hand so i've put teaspoon of oil in plug hole better after that. took the crank case of and i suspect the gear between starter Bendix end flywheel was misaligned. will put everything back tomorrow and see if the engine will turn over. i think it should be easier if i leave the starter in its place aligned the gear on bendix and flywheel then put the crank case on because if i fit the starter afterwards it looks like i push the gear out of position. hopefully will have some success tomorrow

hi guys i've got a jonway master 2 the 244 vertical engine. replaced the head and cylinder gaskets did the TDC and the valves but if i hit the start button the selonoid just click.Check switch selonoid, starter and battery all good. Ive research the problem and some guys say if the valves are to tight the engine wont turn over. i hope i've given enough info about what type of scoot it is. any help would be highly appreciated.

hi i need some advice I've got a 250cc Jonway vertical engine. i recently replaced the head and cylinder gasket on my scoot. electrical wise i only remove the battery and selonoid cables after top assembly i refit the cables but now no power scoot is dead i've checked the battery(good). bridge the connections on selonoid engine turns good. checked the 4 fuses in fuse box with meter all good. the diagram shows a 15amp fuse on positive battery to ignition switch but mine got only cable from positive battery to one contact of selonoid then other selonoid cable to starter.

Hi this weekend my scooter did it again overflow bottle full and overheating the by the way its a 244 engine. The radiator cap is the 0.9 whitch is a 13.5 psi if in correct but the manual say it should be a 15 psi cap for that scoot so I,ve put a 1.1 cap on whitch is 15.9 psi. Burp it ride to work and back no overheating overflow stays half full. Left it stand for a day no riding or idling to get it bone cold but when I open the cap water out a lot of pressure in the system is it normal or will the stronger cap cause more harm then good

ellpee i am talking about the one from filler to radiator. ride it to work (16km) today gauge stayed half. from work back to home it went up to 3/4. after i've let it cooled down at home burbed it again then that hose was luke warm i suppose that's better, but after maybe and hour of idling and coolant top-up. the bubbles wont stop it keeps on coming. i could not find any leaks and coolant looks good oil looks good no performance problems. if i can just get the source of the air surely after an hour the the coolant should have settled down it moves up and dispensing bubbles. i even continuously pressed the hose coming from thermostat to radiator bubbles wont stop.

Rich I blocked of that pipes last night burp it what a mission itl was. Sometimes I get the scoot to be perfect for a week and I use it everyday to work but then it would start to overheat again. What I noticed when I srtuggle to burb it the hose from filler neck to radiator would stay bone cold and that side of radiator is cold too in comparison to other side is it normal

hi guys yesterday my jonway master 2 for some reason start to heat up above 3/4 mark I've let it cool down opened the caps overflow bottle was full no mix of coolant i've refilled and start to burp it fan comes on but constant bubbles looks like it comes from the other pipe on the filler neck that go to the carb. What's the function of that pipe can it be blocked of?

Hi guys I installed a volt meter on the dash with fan and lights stays above 12 volts so it seems my charging is sorted for now. But my cooling system is a big headache I took the thermostat out burb it test run it heating up again what I noticed the hose where you put the water in stays cold during burping is that normal. Thinking of replacing the head gasket but no obvious signs of blown gasket

Hi guys its a jonway master 2 will try the led lights. The cooling system seems to be fine after burping for some time and then its pushing the water over to the overflow bottle. Check fluids no sighs of blow gasket and scooter running just fine.that's the reason why I've put in just plain coolant.
