hi guys I've got a 244 engine. last week i change my regulator because it went dead and today just to be sure i replaced my battery, but i found ever since i bought this scoot(second hand) i cant use fan hooter and lights at once. if just idle with no lights and fan hooter sounds normal. if the fan run full speed and i put the lights on fan would slow down until i put the lights off. check voltage at idle its fine 13 and up and rise if i rev. and in our country South Africa you looking for trouble if you dont put lights on during the day. Another thing I've got straight coolant in the system no mixture with water and the system would heats up every 60-70km. Can the plain coolant cause the heating problem?

Hi jburd one of our technicians in our motor workshop suggest to me putting an water and vinegar mixture in the system which I did when I got home. Rode it to work this morning which is 32km my heat gauge stayed on half so at the moment it looks like my system was partially blocked. Plan to drain it tonight when I get home and burp it will let you know what's the outcome.

Same size belt that was on the shoes gripping and hitting the bell is my main problem at the moment What exactly do you mean?? SHOES GRIPPING and HITTING THE BELL is you main problem. When you twist the throttle and at a certain rpm the CLUTCH PADS will swing out and GRAB the bell and that will in turn start to turn your wheel. So what is it doing differently?? MAYBE A VIDEO with the CVT cover off and the motor running and you giving it some throttle to see what is going on would help with what you mean. Alleyoop

I've ordered some performance springs and the supplier will send me 300cc springs which they say will be more stiffer and rollers because one of them got a flat spot can the rollers be the cause of the shoes not seating properly? But like I said all my problams start after fitting a new belt

I check the springs not broken I took them out my worry is I can clip it in with my finger I don't think it should be that easy

hi guys i think i found the problem when i put a wire inside the tank and pull the float to the right the gauges move up to its full position but as soon as i start the scoot the vibration sort of release it to the left then I'm on empty again will it help if i bend the wire that the float attached to, to the right slightly? Nightwing44 mentioned earlier about my float being position in the shallow part of the tank and need to be repositioned but I'm not sure how it should be done. i ask Nightwing44 but no respond yet any suggestions.

no Allyoop when filled up it will lay flat at empty until the tank reach about half then only will it start to register. the gauge will never go up to full even if i fill up. what wires should be swop black or the other 2 colours? i am thinking of buying a new sensor.
