Check out this video, band in Denmark does a spot-on cover of a very difficult McCartney song to perform. This was done in 2012 as a tribute to Sir Paul's 70th birthday. Enjoy!

Actually, some of us older folks are a bit hard of hearing and appreciate some forum volume

Not so Tomcat. As soon as you hit quote it pastes the quote you chose on the page, just like above. Now remember this button pastes the entire quote on the page.
JR JR, below is what the above looks like before hitting Create Post:

In other words you see a distorted version of what the post is going to actually look like (I added the 5 *'s at the end to prevent it from changing upon posting). On other forums, when you preview you see the final version, so it's probably an option you can incorporate here. No biggie, thanks for all you do! Tom Edit-Edit: I can't get the garbled version to even post, so please delete this whole thing. Thanks

I just added a new feature that is called a thread summary "Quote" button. When you reply to a thread you have two types of reply options, the bottom Quick Reply window or if you look over to the right you'll see the button "Normal Reply"
This only applies to the "Normal Reply" function. When one hits the normal reply of course you get the window where you can type your reply but if you scroll down you see what is called the thread summary. The thread summary is of course replies from other members to the thread. But now look to the right at the top of each members reply and you will see a "Quote" Button.
Now of course when you are reading a thread that members have posted on you can single out a member to quote because every reply by a member has the quote button there to use. But after you hit the normal reply to post you can't view what members have said except to scroll down and look at the thread summary. I use the thread summary a lot when I'm replying because sometimes I have to reference what people have said when I do reply.
Now if you're reading the thread summary and see that a member said something that you missed earlier you can now hit the new Quote Button and it will insert that members words in your reply in the form of a quote like it would any other place.
JR Just tried it, not sure if this will work as there is no option to see what it will actually look like posted, before posting.

My daughter, who lives in Texas, sent me one of my favorite tee shirts. It's got an outline of the state with a pistol over it. Reads "We Don't Call 911"
Great news on the recovery, hope the trike is good to go!

Because not everybody can do it. You could use the same argument to say why should someone who sells a $100,000 Viper make more than someone who sells a $20,000 Dart? Or why should a wait-person at a top end restaurant make more in tips than someone working at a diner, for the same (if not more) amount of work? Because they are qualified to work there. And on and on. Upscale clientele expect upscale knowledge and service. Some can provide it and get compensated accordingly. Those that can't, don't. Sometimes life sucks.

Just wanted to publicly thank Jim, owner of Rapid Repair. Bought my Viking Trike from him last July, and as is typical with Chinese scoots, there were a few issues. Jim got me the replacement parts needed at no charge, not even shipping. The float assembly went south recently (gas gauge stuck on full) so I emailed Jim about a week ago. He said he would contact Ice Bear regarding a replacement. Well, today the UPS driver shows up with a new float assembly! I've read many stories of dealers abandoning the customer after a sale, and thought it would be appropriate to acknowledge someone who doesn't do that. For anyone considering a product that Rapid Repair sells, here's my advice: Don't make your purchase based only on price or a fancy website because a dealer who is honest and will stand behind his product is invaluable. Found a station a couple miles from me that sells ethanol-free gas, figured might as well try it so took my gas can there this morning. Found out a couple things: 1) it's 90 octane 2) it ain't cheap Paid $4.34 a gallon, which is almost $1.00 a gallon more than comparable ethanol fuel. I'll probably end up using it year round in my generator, as that can sit for very long periods without being run. Will also use it in the snowblower, as that can sit unused for quite awhile too, depending on winter weather. As for the trike, have about half a tank of 93 octane (with stabilizer) in there now so will top it off with the ethanol-free. I start it once a week during winter & let it run for 15 minutes or so. I'll only burn about half a tank, if that, before spring. Here's where I would like opinion,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,during riding season should I continue with 93 octane Shell spiked with stabilizer or use 90 octane Marathon ethanol-free? What would you do? Thanks, Tom
For reference, the trike holds about 1 1/2 gallons, the generator 1 gallon, the snowblower 3/4 gallon

I'm in SE Michigan & there are a couple ATV-type places within 10 miles of me. Good suggestion(s)! As for working on the trike, I'm not adverse to that for minor things, having worked on my own cars for the most part since a teenager. At 68 years old though, with major back & hip surgeries in the last 2 years, I'm not quite as flexible as I used to be. So it's not so much being mechanically challenged as being physically challenged to do an axle repair. If one is ever needed (knock on wood). Must say, it's great to have a place to converse with intelligent, understanding, and polite peeps. Thanks!

Please do, I may or may not have an issue. Occasionally the axle will make a clunk-type noise when engaging, other times it's smooth. Never having a trike before I'm not sure what's normal & what isn't. If the axle goes south I'll have two choices. Either order a new one or find a local repair shop that is familiar with small engine rear axles. I'm not mechanically inclined enuff to do the repair myself. I'm determined to get this thing running perfectly, and then get a solid 20,000 miles out of it. Wishful thinking?
