I had  ANOTHER THREAD ABOUT BATTERYS ,AN ITS MY THOUGHT THAT THE ONES THEY GIVE US ARE UNDERPOWERED.AS SAID THE HONDA REFLEX CLONE TO THE YY250T THE 150 ALSO USES SAME BATTERY,SO THE CHEAP ONE I GOT WITH IT GTX9-BS AN THERE ARE OTHER #S TO FOR SAME BATTERY 9AH ,AN SO IF THE 150 USES THE SAME IN CHINESE ,AN THAT ONE I GOT WITH IS GOOD ,,IT WAS MY THOUGHT TO UPGRADE TO THE YTX12S AS THAT IS THE OME REPLACEMENT FOR THE HONDA REFLEX ,AN I GOT TMS AN WAS PLANING ON ACTIVATING IN SPRING THEN THE MAN SAID WELL BETTTER CHECK SEE IT WORKS RIGHT  ISAID I BOUGHT IT THAT WAY FOR REASON ,SO HE PUT IT IN MY HEAD I BETTER ,SO NEXT DAY TAKE IT OUT TO GARAGE ,SET UP SIMULAR TO THE ONE CAME WITH SCOOTER,PUSHED THE ACID BOOTLE ONE NICE AN EVEN 1 MINUTE LATER ITS OVER FLOWING OUT THE BATTERY,LOOKED LIKE ABOUT 2 OUNCES OF FLUIDS LEAKED OUT I HAD SOME 49% ACID ADDED ABOUT 2 OUNCES .PUT CAP ON IT LEAKED OUT NEGATIVE POST ,WAS NOT SEALED RIGHT,WHATS I LONG STORY ALREADY ,THE BATTERY IT JUNK 33.00,,THE PERSON I BUY IT FROM REFUNDED THE AMOUNT THEN WAS THINKING ABOUT ANOTHER 33.00 BATTERY ,THEN I FOUND A POWER SOURSE FOR 56.00 FREE SHIPPING FOUND OUT USA MADE then find out power sourse has the cinese make there baterys what don't they make anymore  ,AN WRONG SITE THEY COST 89.00  SHIPPING ,SO THOUGH TIME WILL TELL ,I JUST DONT SEE PUT YUASA 100.00 + MORE THEN I PAY FOR MY CAR BATTERYS ,THE POWER SOURCE IS ATLEAST BRAND NAME AN COME ALREADY CHARGED ,THERE 11AH BUT THERE ALSO 250CCA SO FOR 22.00 MORE I THINK YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR HEAR ,NOT TO SAY SOME DONT GET LUCKY,AN I GOT NAME BRAND BATTERY HOPEFULLY WITHOUT ALL THE HASSLE OF THE OTHER 8-|I FEEL THE REASON FOR UPGRADE IS I HEAR TO MUCH CHARGEING ISSUES BATTERYS DIEING TO QUICKLY ,SO ITS MY THOUGHT TO RUN YTZ12S THAT OR THE YTZ14S FOR RUNING ALOT OF EXTRAS ,YES ELLPEE YOU WERE RIGHT WHEN SAID 33.00 SOUNDS TO CHEAP

I'm sure he's not yelling, maybe it's just not knowing about all Caps. Scot when one places a word in capital letters it means a stronger emphasis on the word like DO NOT use caps.

To word do and not in all caps means you are strongly saying do and not like if you were at home and saw a baby reach for something hot you would of course be loud in say NO NO NO don't touch that.

The reason I know you're not yelling in your posts is there is no exclamation points there like in DON'T! In computer lingo all caps means to a lot of people that you're yelling at them. Just wanted to explain what TV was saying.

There is a difference in batteries and also a difference in price. In most cases you do get what you pay for. I use and sell Interstate Batteries and yes they are not cheap. I have tried just about everything else on the market and have personnally found them to be top shelf, if not the best on the market. Another aspect to look at is the warranty, to my knowledge, Interstate is the only company that offers a 1 year, non prorated, no hassle, nation wide, free replacement on their powersports batteries. All you have to do is take your bad battery and receipt to any Interstate Dealer and get a new one within the warranty period.

One thing to keep in mind, charging systems on scooters, atvs and motorcycles are not meant to charge a dead battery.

 oh no iwas just bit discouraged about the battery I got from tms  ,an did not know that a lot of times like jr said I hit the caps key an just keep that way sorry about that I know now though ,getting ready go out in =20 for 4 inhes snow ,boston  got it badthough thanks for letting me know about that john,4iches usaaly nothing with snow blower today its the cold an like living in the artic circle yes I know some got 40 below 8-|not rideing scooter or running it today maybe few days get January thaw,the power source is in the middle will try that was 56.00 on sale I seen same one selling for 89.00 ,then I did hear you just get a bad one now an them the now 8ah I got with though was 9ah an PS hehehehe is 11ah ,I guess if that's not enough juice there is the ytx14s an other  part# for them as long as its 6x3x4.3 I guess it fits thanks ,wow was it cold the coldest I can think of on 10 years snow under 20 degrees ,I have not seen hear ,just enough to clear driveway ,then another day is warm up

Well,I'm just saying,Walmart sold me one ,11 amp,.still working--I just checked,they got 2 of them for $59.95 and 79.95 ...rapidjim probably can just about match that price,and he is a valued member and vendor--happy trails,fflintstone----btw--if you run your scooter for awhile and then let it set up for weeks,the battery is not going to last very long--I'm just saying---happened to me

I was told bye a jap bike tech to give it full charge though they had given the battery 18 hour trickle charge on exspencive charger not all of us have one of those ,then bring it in house at normal temps,its good for a month or 2 then slow charge it inside only in winter when not using it ,an I never had trouble but then I had the top end yuasa batterys then,so now I bought a middle I guess type power sourse seems to have desent one ,I guess realy what it come down to is the luck of the draw ,an some how we take care of them making sure they don't go dead one to many times.,i read reviews about the tms at one sight for a cheap battery it had good 4 star rateing ,an I guess one guy had 2 leakers in a row ,well I did not want to be that guy but only time will tell ,I hear good an bad if we dont take care of them 33.00 to 250.00 one can pay for a battery,they wont last long ,I guess .one is more likely to get a leaker or bad one the cheaper there made ,the powersouce has one year warranty ,no questions asked replacement ,as long as not abused ,was what i was told bye seller on ebay ,so again I guess tires batterys ,its different strokes for different folks .some tell me I take to good care of my things,i don't think that's possible couse I fall short to ,just for instance most day one could eat off my wheels speaking back to my summer car,16 coats of wax a year ,I have the time couse I work at home

just examples rims 6 years. old rear tires 5 an 40.000 good old chinese tire rated for 30.000,this is the open discushion 97000 runs like kitten the 95 zs8 I talked about falkins Chinese tires z rated   but I love american made things,its the world our govermant that had us buying these great looking Chinese scootersoh the price to hehe I not upset just stressed it winter an cold      an I have don't a lot of preventive maint too stp oil treatment a must full syn oil Castrol syntec    got nitrous,dont use it though until about 150.000 when  read for one then blow it to an a lot more ,but I guess we are not talking cars just tires hehehehehe

turns out they ended up giveing me the upgraded battery from powerideoutlet ,that was 49.99 upgrade the gtx 9-b ,so I am not sure what the actuall battery would have been ,its 8ah ,the power sourse is 11ah an 250cca,but so far the one they gave me I have to give more credit for it,they do need a slow charge ,they say charge it for 2hours is good ,but its not ,an on a regular charger ,it can couse boiling ,so from now on it will be the 1amp trickle charger ,its got to be better then throwing a slow 6 amps at it ,wich is realy made for the car battery so for anyone thinks all batterys are the same when comes to charging they are not ,so guess to some up my thought for now slow is good when charging,then when rideing season put the tender on it few times a month depending on how long the ride is ,a car battery uses a different higher amp charge or low to for longer ,the scooter battery should allways have a low amp charge or so wikpedea says ,I could be wrong as I am a lot but what works for me ,an the tms I talk about I put on over 2 hour charge was boiling at 2,5 hours an not takeing a full charge,so that was proof I guess they want you to buy more batterys ,lesson learned
