So i just changed my CVT belt and when i turned on my scooter i noticed a sort of rattling noise coming from the inside of were the cvt is. And i also dose not accelerate like it used to it takes a while and it sounds like the engine is stressing out this only occurs when i accelerate. This began when i turned it on after i installed the new cvt belt. How can i stop the rattling noise and all the shaking when i accelerate. Is this normal because it dose not seem to be normal. Oo and i should mention that the replacement cvt belt is just a bit wider than the original. It says the same measurements that the stock one did but its just a bit wider. Thank you in advance.

Hello i have here a 150cc lance Venice scooter. Its a 2008 and has a GY-6 engine. It was working fine but i have notice a decrease in speed in the past week. I have notice it getting slower and slower. And now it only tops the speed at 20 mph. I also notice that it is sort of stuck in 1st gear. I'm not sure but i think it dose not change because i use to feel it change to second and even third.( but not sure) I was wondering if any of you guys know why i'm loosing soo much power. Thank you in advance for your interest.

There are to half moon shaped keepers and only one fell off put that's enough to make it loose compression.

I have a 150cc engine it was riding grear. But Monday afternoon when I took it out to go for a ride its started up as normal, I was half a block from my house when my engine turn off. I had to push it back home. I took the head cover off and it looked the the valve keepers were off a bit. So I took the rockerarms to have a better look. It turns hour to be that the keepers fell out of place. I put them back and it started up great but an hour later it turns off again. And when I everything apart, the keepers were off again. I put them back again and this is my 4th time douing this. They juat keep falling off. What could be happening. Can someone help me fix this problem. Thank you very much.

OK so i got the spark again turns out to be that the ground wire was a bit loose. I fixed that problem. So after i tried to start it and it started flawlessly. I gave it like 5 min to warm up before going for a ride. I was 2 blocks away from my house when suddenly it turned off on my. I tried to start it again but no luck it just sound like the starter is turning but not the engine. The flywheel is turning fine and i checked for compression and there is. Still it sounds like there is no compression. Before when i tried to kick started i felt like i was turning the engine.( i don't know how to explain it) And now it feels a bit to easy to turn. Dose anyone know what could be the problem.

When i cleaned it i took both jets out and inspected them. Both of them were fairly clean not much dirt or anything. I stilled sprayed them and left them socking it carb cleaner overnight, With other parts of the carb.

And when spray fuel directly in the intake manifold the bike starts up with no problem. I tried cleaning the Carb but no use. i think it may be a bad carb. Dose anyone know were they sell a inexpensive carb. I'm thinking i may need one.

I took the battery out of the Battery Tender because it was late night and I was not conferrable leaving it all night. So Today morning I pt it back on my scooter. First i connected the ground wire. But when I got the positive wire and i touched the positive on the battery the starter turned on. And it wont stop until i take the positive wire from the battery. Can someone please tell me whats going on. Thank you in advance.
