So i just changed my CVT belt and when i turned on my scooter i noticed a sort of rattling noise coming from the inside of were the cvt is. And i also dose not accelerate like it used to it takes a while and it sounds like the engine is stressing out this only occurs when i accelerate. This began when i turned it on after i installed the new cvt belt. How can i stop the rattling noise and all the shaking when i accelerate. Is this normal because it dose not seem to be normal. Oo and i should mention that the replacement cvt belt is just a bit wider than the original. It says the same measurements that the stock one did but its just a bit wider. Thank you in advance.

You probably messed up the ROLLERs in the VARIATOR, that is why no acceleration. You need to take the VARIATOR off and straighten the rollers in the ramps and WHEN YOU PUT IT BACK ON YOU NEED TO HOLD the BACK PLATE AND VARIATOR otherwise the rollers will come out of the ramps and wind up sideways. Rollers rattle when they get flat spots from wear . I use Dr Pulley sliders in my scooters they not only perform and last longer but are quiet . I thought I had a bad main bearing at first when my rollers started to rattle
