Richard, If it is blowing gas out the exhaust the scoot must be running pretty crappy. Please explain how it is running... Backfireing, POPPING, BOGGING, BRUPPING etcc.. Because different sounds and actions will help pinpoint the problem and what needs to be done to correct it. Alleyoop

I would say a few flames should be coming out the exhaust.

Richard, What if any mods have you done to the scoot: Performance exhaust? Bigger Carb? Bigger Jets? Free Flow Filter? BBK?
Or is it stock? And WHEN does this happen Excelerating at Certain Speeds or Backing off the throttle or at IDLE???. Need details to help with what is happening Alleyoop

Hey guys, its not my scoot (thank God) someone in another forum was asking that question, so in my learning process, I was just wondering what could cause this, so I thought I'd ask the pro's (you guys) what could cause this problem.
