Riding home last night from work wasn't easy, I ride about 2 miles through a state games lands (no lights) and rain last night. My question is do they make lights that you could put on scooter other then changing your lights to something else? Attachments:

JR, I had running lights on scoot, I meant there was no street lights (sorry) even with the running lights it was hard to see plus it was raining. I just thought with additional lights added to my scoot would help give me more light to see better Those dash wedge lights may be what I need. (thanks) or both.

Richard I don't know about candlepower but it seems to me that a helmet mounted spot light makes sense. Ernie

HI...everyone....I know the lights on the scoots leave alot to desire....but I installed Hi/Lo Bi-Xenon HID's....5000k....H4....35 watt....superslim ballast....excellent mod....be careful of Halogens....they get pretty hot....the HID's do not melt the plastic....I leave for work at 1 am and live in the country...with no street lights.....love the HID's....not a hard mod...just takes some time to install.....there is a thread on this on the forums....enjoy your scoot...I do....Thanks JR for all you do for us....

Thanks everyone, not sure yet as to what to buy, but I know for starters, I'm buying the ones JR was showing me for the side running lights (the wedge lights) then I'll check out these other lights for night running Hey Ernie, great idea also (I do live in a coal mining town, that would be Cool

A while back I was looking at what dealextreme had in leds and found they had led fog light bulbs. they would more than likely work as a head lamp at lower current but would be illegal,...... but if they could be cobled into a running light. I have yet to do any experimenting with high output leds but I am going to. the biggest problem is they have a different shape of light beam and may not be right in some reflectors. john
