If you look at this forum Barry had asked several questions. I think all have now been attended.

I'm very sorry you guys.. I was a little frustrated. I had just finished throwing my hammer, two screwdrivers, plyers and most of my sockets as far as I could. Didn't go to far since they landed in my back yard. Once I had found them all I sat in my lawn chair quietly........wishing I had a hand grenade.....
again I'm sorry for being a dill hole, I'm no mechanic but I am a good dill hole.

That is the way things go on this forum. I often ask a question and then wait days for a response. Other times any question I asked is answered the same day. I have been working on my scoot for some long time now but just have not gotten to the solution yet. Fixed the boiling radiator with help diagnosing. Rebuilt my air delivery system to end air leakage. Still can not get the engine to idle or continue running. Now following the Honda repair manual and it is helping but leaving me with questions. Waiting for an answer right now. Hoping next week I will be free to spend more time with the manual and my scoot.

You know, now that I think about it, I can't remember the question either. I know I was think about the CVT "stock roller weight" in my 2011 Jonway YY250T ( Honda clone engine). I want to change to sliders instead of rollers, apparently much smoother shifting. I was told to go down 1g or 2g from the stock roller weight. I was thinking maybe 22g sliders but without knowing the roller weight I don't know if that's enough or too much... also I weight 220lbs, if that helps. So anyone know the stock roller weight..? Damn it, that's the question I needed answered. Sorry again everybody...
thanks barry

It could vary with date of manufacture, etc. You're going to have to open up the variator anyway to install the sliders. Focus, barry, focus!

Thanks ellpee, Your right, someone did tell me that. I know that's really the only way to check. I assume rollers would wear down and loose weight over time. I thought the stock roller weight that a new scoot ships with would be a good place to start. The shop is waiting for me to order the parts but I didn't know the original roller weights so I thought I couldn't. After examination he put it back together so I could use it until the parts came. It's my only transportation. Guess I've have to drop it off and leave it for a while...
thanks ellpee barry
