Dash lights flickered then died. When I get the front off, what do I do..?
please help.....

First thing you can do is find the wires to the dash lights then follow the cable backward towards the switches and battery. Make sure none are cut and all connections are good. Good grounding is needed. Can't think of more for a first look.

Did the fuel gauge and clock also "flicker," as in go on and off? All that dashboard stuff is fed by one fuse if you have the Honda clone (vertical engine) variant, so if EVERYTHING in the dash is out, loose fuse would be a possible suspect.
