Were it me, I'd take the old one down to Autozone, Pep Boys, cycle shops, etc. SOMEBODY should be able to match it. Only question might be the pressure rating.

O'Reilly's does better than a lot of them and so does NAPA, they'll walk the part's isles and see if they can match it.

JR or others. I just posted where to buy scooter parts but now I wonder if that was a honest and true place to buy parts. I posted this " .roketa.com/index.jsp" believing it to be true. But now I realize that an order I posted two days ago has gone nowhere at all. It appears to be an order but I can not find anything like status, activity, whatever. So now I wonder if I am fooled by their forum as they did allow me to register and leave my contact etc. So JR or anyone else, please jump in and tell me if this is truly a good source for parts. Maybe I need to call in rather than depend on their selling forum. I just do not know. Since I suggested to others this was a good place, I think any corrections should be posted here and soon. WELL IT DOES ORDER and now, because of my misunderstanding of the system, I now have two of the switches I ordered showing as ordered. Now I have to find a way to cancel one of those orders.

bobf, I'm starting to suspect you are my clone. Your experiences mirror mine. I sent them a "contact us" message via their website, it seems to me, and when they responded it also showed on their website, not in my EMail inbox. That's been 18 months or so ago, don't recall for sure.

Thanks ellpee, now that I have 2 on order at Roketa I am afraid to order any more till I get those 2 cancelled somehow. I got tossed quickly from our local atv dealer. No help from those folks if they think it is Chinese. Maybe I have a big useless peice of junk in my garage.
Now it is back to trying to figure out if Roketa.com is real or not.

I've had that feeling lately when trying to get work done on my Chinese scooter. Considering how many of them are running around, for the life of me I can't understand why at least a few enterprising garage mechanics aren't trying to serve that niche market. PS -- I think, though you never know, that the REAL Roketa parts department is .roketapartsdept.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.roketapartsdept.com/. When I've looked there, though, they want top dollar for pretty much anything, plus a LOT of shipping and handling.

You are correct on cost. At roketa.com the left hand switch is $40.00. And at roketapartsdep.com they are $84.00 marked down from $116.00.
So I guess I try to get straight with roketa.com and if not possible I will have to pay the price, just so I can say my scoot runs again.
This is just a ripoff and it will certainly hurt the scooter market, at least for these Chinese labeled ones.
