I'm checking / adjusting the lash on a gy6 150 (roketa with the egr / pair junk on it) this weekend and it suddenly occurred to me, are there any gaskets etc that I will need to replace due to removig the valve cover or the pair? I need the scoot for work that day and don't want to be left sat in a pile-o-bits and needing a part lol.
Thanks in advance!

You should be fine. The valve cover is designed to be reused and unless the gasket on the PARE get really tore up it should be fine also.

While we are talking about valves lets talk about the correct settings in inches and millimeters it seems like I hear all kinds of numbers and am just now getting around to doing it and would like to get the good poop...you know what I mean I hear one number for intake and another for exhaust and it seems there is a little difference between GY6 139 an GY6 157 and that is what I would like to address as I have a 157 any ideas ya'll? A lot of the 150s are GY6 157s, I always set mine at Top Intake .004" and Bottom Exhaust .005". Or you can go both .004". Many set the Bottom to .005" because that is the Valve that gets extreme heat and will close up the fastest. The Top Intake may last a long time because that is the Valve that gets fresh air and Gas to keep it cooler. Alleyoop

A 150cc GY6 engine is called a XX 1 (P) 57 QMJ
The '57' is the size of the piston diameter in millimetres...works out to 149 cubic centimetres or ccs
