I have a 2008 Roketa 250CC MC-54-250B that I actually bought brand new in Jan 2011 and received in Feb 2011
I disassembled it and then after changing water, oils, gas, making sure all screws, bolts, etc were tight, I put it back together. Right now I am thinking of selling it as I am now near 82 and not really driving it very much as today it only shows 120 miles. I am starting to have some balance problems even while walking. But intend to ride when it is not too windy as in the winter, or way too hot in the summer.
Just wondering about how much would this scoot get on the market and how best to get a buyer.
I now live in Casa Grande Arizona, 50,000 people plus winter folks, which is partly why I don't ride as much. I was in Cortez Colorado, small town of about 9,000 and rest was mostly country roads. Cold in the winter itself but rest of year it was grand for riding around. But shortly after getting the scoot reassembled and starting to ride a bit, I got medical orders to move to low altitude or get air tanks to live with. Here in Casa Grande I find the traffic to be busy in town, at least to me, but in a month or so the winter folks will begin to leave and it gets a bit easier to use the streets again.
So I am just wondering if there is a way to make another person happy or do I just need to drive it as long as I can and then set it on the curb for a pickup by someone.
Thanks for any feed backs.

That may be a good thought. Would that be best at a dealer to make such a deal.

I would think one could trade it if there is a dealer around that sells trikes?

You can convert it to a TowPac unit if you have a dealer near by and IF TowPac makes one for your rig. They special made mine for my Buddy 170i, my riding pal (little dealership) installed it in 4 hours flat. TowPac.com actually makes what we call outrigger units, you end up with 3 wheels in the rear. I also have a TGB 150I that we put a Cozy sidecar on. These units handle differently than 2 wheelers but are easy to get used to. So far as I can determine these 2 rigs are the only ones in the country set up this way (I mean Buddy 170i and TGB 150I scoots)

I've seen these in nice condition being sold by people who are too much work and not enough play in the $850 + ballpark. However yours is exceptional: very little mileage and properly prepped. With simple maintenance that scoot will have a long life. I'd stress the excellent preparation and mileage in ads on eBay, Craigslist, scooterfinds, cycletrader and whatever other scooter/motorcycle sales sites you like. The right person will gladly pay the top dollar and it only takes one to make the sale. Or use it as a bargaining chip to swap for something you want. Best of luck to you.
