Hey there all, just got done installing the dual shot dragon exhaust had to modify and weld a little bit but got it on and sounds great. Does anyone know where I can get Jets for my carb at? It needs rejetted now with the new exhaust.

I didn't put on the air intake because I didn't feel like doing an upjet. Since you did, and are, here is a thread I bookmarked from the old scootdawg site that might get you started.

Hey trailheadmike, how fast does your scooter get up to?

I seem to top out at 65, sometimes less. I weigh 230 and have a big Givi windshield on the scoot. I know people talk all the time about going faster on a 260, but for me, when I check my speed by gps, I get up to around 55-60 pretty quickly and then slooooowly rise. My speedo puts me at 80+!!

I think I might need a valve adjustment because mine runs good and takes off good but then falls on its face I top out at 45 I have to be going down a hill to go any faster. It's got like 2000 miles on it. It was like this since I bought it before the exhaust and all. Hopefully a valve adjustment does the trick. I don't think the last 2 people that owned it before me done anything to it.

You might want to do a good pdi if it wasn't done. I got mine used too and the guy hadn't done anything. I changed the oil, antifreeze, fuel filter and hose connectors, as well replacing the air lines and fuel lines with good american rubber secured with zip ties. If you haven't you won't believe your eyes - the chinese lines are like drinking straws compared to good rubber. I saved a sample to show people, and two years later its hard as a rock.

I have a pdf of the yamaha yp250 manual which will help you work on the engine if you want. I also have pdfs of some good panel assembly guides and pdi guides for this scoot from the old site.
