Ok Jr, I did some more looking out my old cdi box and here is the part # xy170mm cdi. So that would mean that mine is definitely a cdi setup right?

Its a CDI but the question is, IS the COIL a TCI or a REGULAR COIL that gets it's VOLTAGE from the CDI!
So to test hook up your meter to the Live Wire Connector ON THE COIL and Turn the KEY TO ON. If it registers 12v then it is a TCI COIL that gets it's voltage from the battery.
So get back with that test. Alleyoop

GREAT!! Now that is out of the way(HAHA). We now know that you do have a TCI COIL and when the stator rotates it grounds it out to complete the circuit and then the COIL sends the VOLTAGE to the plug just like in the GIF PICTURE I put up. Now that CDI you got is a 9000rpm performance CDI.
So look at the ORGINAL STATOR and the CDI that was on there and compare them I think one of them is the wrong part. Maybe you can put up a picture of the OLD STATOR and the OLD CDI and a picture of the NEW STATOR, so we can see maybe what is the problem. I would guess its the stator that is the wrong one. Or the stator is not grounding out when its suppose to maybe because its the wrong one Alleyoop

The wiring is important how many wires etc.. a 3 plug and a 2 plug or a 3 plug and 1 lone wire etc..a Pickup coil etc.. Alleyoop

Ok Jr, I did some more looking out my old cdi box and here is the part # xy170mm cdi. So that would mean that mine is definitely a cdi setup right? Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk I'm sorry but I'm bowing out of this one. The last things that are stated here make no sense? You just stated you have a 12V power source to the coil and "if" it has 3 wires which I'm not sure because of no picture then by both of you guys assumptions you have a TCI type coil just like in the photo you posted Alley:
The above is a correct diagram of a TCI coil. Now you're coming back and saying you have a CDI? Simply put you can't and do not put a CDI with a TCI coil, it's apples and oranges.
So which is correct? Do you really have a TCI type coil or a CDI type, a TCI ignition module or a CDI module? Beats me?
Lastly when all this started you replaced a carb and somehow mysteriously the entire ignition system just failed at the same time? You've replaced every single thing including the stator which has nothing to do with the firing system other than the pulse coil which you could have replaced alone by itself should it have been bad. You also mentioned you yourself believe it's a wiring issue yet you haven't performed one wire test of any of the wiring (or at least you haven't said so) to see if you have a bad wire. By testing I mean using the ohm setting on a meter and checking each wire of the ignition system for continuity. You've got the scooter stripped and this would be extremely easy. Instead you have just bought and thrown parts at it and don't even know if you bought the right parts and not sure of what your system is? If it's a bad wire you now have a good supply of parts you don't need even if they are wrong.
Too many cooks in the kitchen, and speaking of kitchen I have green beans to can and plum jelly to make and not a lot of time. Good luck.

Jr, I appreciate all you've helped with. And everyone for that matter as everyone knows it gets frustrating, things get over looked ect. I have not done any meter testing other than what you all have asked. Now, you're right about one thing to many Chiefs! I have been listening to all here and people on the phone. (not good).. The guy from Scootertronics is the one that has me buying things and replacing them that's how he says he fixes them. Witch I thought was odd but I went for it because I just wanted this fixed.. Boy have I learned a lot! Anyway I have a good scooter mechanic coming over tonight to do exactly what you just said Jr, take a meter to everything. I appreciate your concern about spending money that doesn't have to be. I'll get back with an update once he has looked it over. Thanks for everything again.

I think you have some wrong parts so check the # on the old MAGIC BOX(CDI OR NOT) as well as the OLD COIL and STATOR. And I have to say the guy that says he replaces parts that is how he fixes them I CALL MONKEY MECHANICS they cannot diagnose past their nose sorry to say and I would run. Those kind of folks just take your money and if you notice anything electrical it is yours after you buy it IF YOU PUT it on. NICE right if you don't put it on you don't know if it works or not. And if it doesn't they say you messed it up have a nice day. And I understand their side on that because there are so many that do not know what they are doing and or ordering. But that is why we have Scooter forums but then again the folks do not come on until they messed up their scoots to late to tell them they got the wrong part or did the wrong thing. my rank. Alleyoop
My suggestion is to LOOK at the ORIGINAL PARTS that you replaced and match them with the new PARTS. The wiring on them is very important. Alleyoop

Yes the link works, it is to show the CDI that he says has those numbers on it and that he bought.
