If you had carb off, it does take a good many cranks to start, because you have to bold vacuum,

Well with plug out grounded to the frame there's no fire. And I've cranked it for a long time.

Grounding a plug to the frame does not mean a thing. It can fire on the frame but it may not fire on the motor. For a plug to fire IF everything else is good the motor has to be grounded to the frame. So to check for spark ALWAYS check on the motor forget about checking on the frame means nothing. Now do you know if you have a DC or AC CDI? If DC then it gets it power when you turn on the KEY to ON straight from the battery. If it is AC then it gets its power when the stator is turning which means when the motor is being turned over with the starter.
But if no spark it could be many things: A. The boot cap or bad plug B. The Coil C. The CDI D. The Pickup Coil E. The Stator F. The Killswitch is not in the run position If DC it could be the Wire from the KEY SWITCH Alleyoop

Thanks for responding, yes I tried grounding on motor also. AND I'm not sure if ac or DC but could a bad plug cause no fire? And why did it happen when I put the carb back on? It was running Ok before that I was just cleaning carb.

Ok, taking the carb off and putting it back on HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SPARK. So let me ask this when you took the carb off did you reach over and UNPLUG the ENRICHER and then go back and PLUG it back in?
If so check the wires there because the wires going to the COIL and a couple of stator wires going to the CDI which are usually plug in are right around there. You may have accidentally pulled and unplugged one of those wires. Alleyoop

The Enricher is on the Carb and gets voltage after the motor starts. It is used to feed EXTRA FUEL when the motor is COLD. As the motor starts up and is running it feeds voltage to the ENRICHER and it shuts off the EXTRA FUEL after 3-5 minutes. So if you took off the carb and unplugged it or PULLED on the carb it may have pulled on other wires near where it connects to the harness. Alleyoop

I've checked every wire, it's all connected. I'm going to start with a spark plug first and then I guess start checking for voltage. I'm just baffled that all I done was clean the carb and now no spark. I've changed a hundred of them and I've never had this.

Welcome to the forum snechovski, and you are right --frustrating--there is the old saying,"If it ain't broke ,don't fix it"-so,since it is too late to give out that advice,we will just have to muddle through it---I had a Honda 185 3 wheeler that was a pita when it decided to refuse to start and I never knew why but I did learn to cope with it--it was a little expensive but it worked every time--I bought a brand new plug--kept it in the tool kit and if I was stuck in the deep woods and it refused to start,I put that new plug in it and it worked every time--and sometimes ,the plug in it was a new plug--I never figured it out ,but I only got stuck in the deep woods one time before I learned ---now last summer ,my brand new less than 2 year old self propelled ,self starter lawn mower developed this problem--wouldn't start--still under warranty ,so I took it in,the mechanic said it may need a new starter--I asked for a new plug,he got one installed it and it has started ever since--weird--them plugs should not have that problem--so ,you takes your chances and start with the cheapest thing, the plug--my 2 cents--good luck--fflintstone

Ok, I replaced the plug, cdi box, and coil and still no fire... On my coil there's a hot side when the key is on and a ground. On the ground side when I turn the key on it loses ground. Is that supposed to be like that?

Is the killswitch on the run position? Look some more if the plug wire was off the plug how in the heck did that happen? you must of been messing around there and I am sure something got unplugged or the killswitch is not on the run position. There are no wires by the CARB only the ENRICHER and if you unplugged it to pull the carb off there are wires around there. You are missing something Alleyoop

Trust me, switch is on and nothing is unplugged. I've even pushed with a pick all the wires in every plug from front to rear and they all have contact.

Not sure what scoot you have but, did you check fuse aside battery (that where mine is, I have the 257 linhai clone) if this fuse goes on my scooter it won't start. Just a thought
